First thread is nearly full but please check if still room to post by going to www.mumsnet.com/talk/telly_addicts/4710280-happy-valley-series-3-bbc1-9pm-starts-1-january-2023-no-spoilers-tv-pace?page=40

And once it is welcome to everyone. Looking forward to any number of theories and learning things one never wanted to know about like tiny phones.

Def overthinking the new thread. Doesn't matter if this doesn't have all 1000

I start new ee ones when 30/50 posts off

Doesn't matter if people post on new one

@Emotionalsupportviper how you must be suffering

Having to wait a whole week. Well 6 in fact instead of binging all in one night

IwantToRetire · 21/01/2023 00:35

Seriously, have you all had a humour by pass.

I'm not over thinking anything. I am letting others now as I did on the previous thread.

All your reactions are really strange. Talk about overthinking.

And also reveal that you cant have seen the last two pages of the other thread.

Not even sure why anyone bothered to comment.

Maybe there's nothing on tv.

Let's just hope you all get a good night's sleep and wake up a bit less grouchy.

Thought I'd posted this yesterday but can't see it. There was a clip on gmb saying Lorraine was featuring a trailer from Sun with a twist. I'm not a Lorraine viewer as a rule but of course couldn't miss that.

It was a clip of Royce getting his hair cut Confused. 'Twist'???

CuriousMama · 21/01/2023 08:17

It is the same Sally Wainwright who did Last Tango.

LadyEloise1 · 21/01/2023 08:58

Like @LindorDoubleChoc I'm on the thread to read comments after an episode has aired.
You can rely on Mumsnetters to give different views and different perspectives. In real life tv, Netflix etc gives us such a wide choice but means viewing of shows is very fragmented. Your family, friends and colleagues may not have watched what you are watching so it's nice to know Mumsnetters will have a view and a discussion Smile

New thread for grouchy people:

What a shame that in your childish attempt to score a point that you didn't bother to add the existing links to you OP.

So well done in achieving your school yard antics, by sneaking in, and in your haste messed up.

And didn't even suggest that continue to fill this thread until it is full.

Your little gang must be full of themselves.

Apart from being childish it is just rude.

It's not that its a competition, but I said in advance I would take on to do it as I had done the original thread and the second.

You could just have said thanks, but I'll get on an do it now.

This is why so much of mumsnet isn't as useful as it could be as threads get started and then others duplicate.

Maybe I could take a leaf out of you book and start a different third thread.

What you on about?

I did link the previous thread in the new thread's op.

I think you need to relax a little bit..!

MetaDaughter · 21/01/2023 17:08

And didn't even suggest that continue to fill this thread until it is full.

Don’t fret, @IwantToRetire - no one actually cares who starts a thread. (I couldn’t have named you without looking.) And on the much longer running Archers thread we all race over to the new thread as soon as the thread starter links it - without waiting to fill the old thread to 1000. (Only weirdos and the ill-informed linger by themselves at the tail end, missing the active conversation we’ve already started.) It honestly Does Not Matter.

And I certainly don’t consider myself part of any ‘little gang’. It’s an anonymous thread on an internet forum to chat about a TV show -nothing more.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2023 17:49

Same @MetaDaughter when I do the new eastendees thread. I don't say fill it up then come to new one

Once someone sees a link we shift threads

That's the Norm

Or has been in the 16yrs or so I've been on mn

Emotionalsupportviper · 21/01/2023 18:11

Sorry @IwantToRetire . . .

<looks at floor, hands behind back, scuffs shoes against each other>

<edges off the old thread>

<skips gleefully over to new thread as soon as is out of Retires sight>

Wait for me everybody!

CuriousMama · 21/01/2023 21:13

I'm the same I couldn't tell you who started a thread in telly addicts most of the time.

upinaballoon · 21/01/2023 21:19

I'm an ill-informed weirdo who doesn't like to waste post spaces so I am sitting here, typing to myself, and thinking that the Knezevics will want to stop TLR from getting to court and will probably want to kill him rather than embrace him back into the fold.

JaneJeffer · 21/01/2023 21:22

Won't they be grateful to him for not implicating them in the death of concrete/blue barrel guy though @upinaballoon?

midsomermurderess · 21/01/2023 21:23

@upinaballoon They took out a hit on him in prison, the Ks, didn’t they. One of the detectives did say they had intended him to die in that attack.

LindorDoubleChoc · 21/01/2023 21:23

No need for all this drama surely? There's enough in Happy Valley.

upinaballoon · 21/01/2023 22:37

Oho. Rewatch e2 ??🙂 Thank you!

Surely no-one can trust what he's going to say in court. The Corleones Knezivics are grateful.

upinaballoon · 21/01/2023 22:41

I meant to say 'aren't' grateful.

JaneJeffer · 21/01/2023 23:02

I don't think he'll have time to testify seeing as he's getting out of there Grin

CorporateBull · 22/01/2023 08:44

He’s not testifying is he? He’s pled guilty and is being sentenced (which he would NOT need to go to court for in real life).
