Sad story all round with Paula and Peaches deaths later on, and although I never liked Paula, credit should go to her for Band Aid, it was she who give Geldof the idea.

I agree, he was a beautiful man, inside and out. His life was going so well with his success with INXS and it seemed like he had wonderful relationships with Michele, Kylie and Helena but it all went horribly wrong with the accident that left him with brain damage and then the turmoil with his relationship with Paula Yates. Also a lot of sadness in his childhood with being taken away from his brother aged 10 to live in America.

Absolutely. What a bloody tragedy. I loved ones too when I was young. I got the relationship timelines wrong as I thought he was with Kylie before Helena but I was a young teen when it was all going on. Just hearing the music again took me back

Really interesting. Didn't realise he was from a glamorous background himself. He was extremely beautiful but came from good stock I guess. A real waste he looks a lot older than 37 towards the end. I guess that's what drugs does to people.

It sounds like he was kicking off in the street with the taxi driver when he got punched that's the sort of thing that happens to alcoholics and drug addicts - people with chaotic lifestyles. I never wanted to go out with somebody like that although they are interesting to have as friends.

So sad how so many lives can change In an instant. I lost a parent to suicide as a child and found it really sad to watch.

I wonder how Tiger is now. God I hope she is living a simple life. Awful thing that happened to him. Do you think Paula was that wholesome before she met him? I know thats how she came accross but Peaches did exactly the same thing. How can you go from teetotal to heroin in two years?

I met him when he was with Paula Yates. He was very withdrawn and had terrible skin.

He always had bad skin though but we saw through that. I guess it wouldve got worse with his lifestyle.

I remember feeling at the time it was all happening, that Saint Bobs actions were revenge derived.. who knows, but i've hated him ever since.

I don't believe Paula was free from drugs when she met him. They were toxic together. I agree both Paula and Peaches both did the earth mother thing, but for both of them, I think it was in a desperate attempt to hide or get away from drugs in a fake it til you make it way.
