First look at Estee Lauder Xmas collection. I think this is the one you can buy discounted with a purchase.

I would use nearly everything in the JL AC, but I'm not excited by it, so unless there was a huge (unlikely) discount (remembering Selfridge's 50% off November '22), I'm out.
I've ordered Liberty with my BD credit and loyalty vouchers so it came to under £20. I'm going to go for Space NK too. Interested in Boots skincare AC. Looking forward to seeing what's in the OK AC.

Im not excited by JL - it’s got far too much makeup for me. I may look out for a couple of the perfumes on Vinted.

The EL Blockbuster is getting worse by the year. I will only purchase if/when they drop the spend requirement.

I’m probably going to buy Liberty when they release. I’ll have another BD credit by then.
Space NK is also on my list. I’ll have enough products to last until Christmas 2050. 😁

I like the box! Very different to previous JL calendars. I agree the selection is odd - 3 eye creams and some eye masks, lots of lip products. But some real draws too - the perfumes are a pretty good mix, including the 15ml Le Labo, the full size Chantecaille mascara(!), nice eyeshadow colours and some nice moisturisers. I’m definitely going to be doing some spreadsheet analysis this weekend. No complete standouts this year (unless Vogue pulls off something amazing!) but for me Harrods, Liberty, SpaceNK, JL and Selfridges are all still on the table. Aim is to decide on 2 of these.

I’ve just repurposed a couple of the previous red velvet bags to store my flat sandals in.

Hmm, I am on the fence about JL at the moment. I was excited to see what’s in it, but less excited now. There are some products I’d like to try, and the Medik8 is a good offering & a good size.
I feel like last years had more products that interested me, and it was a lot cheaper.
I’ll still consider it, just need to update my spreadsheet and see if it makes the cut

Justmylook have sent an email. I'm interested in this calendar. Although I'm slightly annoyed I ordered mine and dd goldwells products last week, I've just looked and they are cheaper this week! The calendar was around £55 last year, I didn't get it as I wasn't familiar with k beauty. I actually use the Centella now, which is pictured in the email

@OchonAgusOchonOh I haven't yet found the release date for the Boots ones however advent stalking is becoming an enjoyable pastime for me so will keep a look out.

I had a quick glance at the JL contents list on my lunch break but am going to go through it properly this evening. I expected a price increase and am pretty sure Sephora will be priced similarly.

I got it last year and thought it was great for the price.

ASOS isn't tempting me at all, I much prefer LF at that price point.

JL is a no from me sadly …I honestly don’t need an advent calendar … i have soo much skin care / perfume from previous years that I really don’t need it and it’s probably because of this I’m finding it tricky to choose one ….that said I have the harrods fragrance calendar ordered (but still no DPD email) and now torn between harrods /Space Nk /…..and of course there are all those ‘edits’ that drop in december that always seem much better value …I’m going to hold off to see what sephora / Vogue do …hopefully that will be in the next week ….mmm decisions decisions …

Oh dear - I have liked ASOS in the past, but brow gel, Revolution, powder, CT peachgasm and all those tiny sizes - it’s a hard pass from me!

The only ones tempting me so far are:

Is anyone clever enough to tell me what the JLP fragrances are? I can see SDJ Bum Bum which I like, also a hair oil which I have but have almost finished; but that blooming lip oil is still barely used in my makeup bag (sure it was in last year's). If JLP is not the one (do we have a price) then it will have to be the £££ Liberty.

Luckily I saved £65 the other day by not checking out on my basket of a certain addictive brand of bag that I love. So maybe it’s OK.

ETA: arrgh I see April lady has linked the full contents! must read the thread before posting!

BTW I have a pretty big garden and also I am in the middle of the UK so extremely accessible; happy to host the mass RHOAC five-item swap cocktail and canapé event :)
