My Anthropologie is being dispatched!!! Now where to store it!!

I’m sure I remember people saying last year that they had been able to get the fragrance calendar at Harrods beauty stores without any scuffles - it was just at the Knightsbridge store, where I found myself at the centre of the fighting. I’m sure it was made worse because they launched it on a Sunday when most people were off work. I can remember buying it on release day on a weekday in the past and although it sold out very quickly, people weren’t going mad like last year.

Does anyone know when the harrods fragrance one will go on sale in stores?

I really like all the fragrances that I've smelt, except the Nishane. I'm glad it's a smaller bottle.

DPD delivered a shoe box sized Harrods box today containing …. a 1.7ml sample of Creed 😳
A free sample which was automatically added to my basket when I ordered the main Harrods advent , which will not be dispatched until 1/9.
I think for the sake of the environment they could have possibly held off and put it in the advent box ?!

I fancy lining up for the Harrods fragrance at H Beauty … do you think Instagram would be the best indicator of when your local store will open its doors for purchasing it ? Glasgow has a very shiny new H Beauty and knowing my fellow Glaswegians I think it has a good chance of being this years Knightsbridge debacle !

I actually like the mini Nuxe oils, I always put one in my overnight bag when we're doing the university run (involves one night in a hotel)

Is that Huile prodigeuse? I have no idea how to use it! I accidentally spilled some, my pyjamas are very sparkly, even after 2 washes.

But when I did try it, where it says ‘glow’ I ended up with ‘ridiculously shiny’ so I haven’t really done much with it. This is the case with most glowy products!

I emailed Harrod’s customer service to complain about them selling all of the fragrance calendars before their own advertised launch date and they came back to me to say ‘However please be reassured that calendars will also be available to purchase in-store at Harrods and all H beauty stores in September.’ But no specific date given. I’m very jealous of all of you getting yours now! Nearly had to hide the thread yesterday due to an excess of anguish 😂

I work from home so I was lucky that I saw the post on here about it going on sale. I too would've been so annoyed if I'd missed out because they released a day early. I really thought that they would hold some back for the 'official' release. I feel sorry for the people who took the day off work to get it.

I was jealous when I read this last night as I'd not had anything from Anthropologie, but this morning I've got a message from Evri saying they are expecting my Anthropologie parcel! Hurrah!! It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Agree that the Harrods release a day early was quite underhand…I do wonder if there was something behind it, like they had expected lots of bots. I have no idea how it works. I only managed it because I had a feeling it wouldn’t go as smooth and I wanted to be prepared…so downloaded the app ( already in H beauty) and clicked on all forms of communication. I did have a push notification on my watch, but I’d already bought as I checked the app at 11.20 am on the Monday just as a “I wonder” and it was live. Came on here to drop a comment, but already beaten to it!

Got my Liberty this morning. Still packaged up as I stash it under the window behind my dresser, where we have a little condensation/mould issue. But DH doesn’t check there.

The Harrods early release was very bad on their part. Selfishly the unannounced drop and seeing it on here might be the only reason I got one. If they'd released Tuesday 11am like they said they'd have probably gone even quicker and maybe the site would have crashed.

It was a crappy thing to do though and they haven't really had enough flak for it.

Just had an email from Space NK saying they now stock Gisou, I wonder if that will be the mystery advent calendar product?

I wouldn't have thought so as Gisou is already in the advent, so it's not really a surprise new brand. Fairly sure it will be Kay Beauty, I wonder when the advent goes on sale?

I wouldn't mind a Gisou hair perfume as I missed this last year, but judging by the shape I'm going to be controversial and say I reckon it's a black eyeliner 😅

That’s all very well if you live near a store but lots of people don’t. There isn’t one anywhere near me, so if I hadn’t seen it on here I wouldn’t have got one.

www.dermalogica.co.uk/pages/advent-calendar-2025-waitlist discussed on the GWP/edit thread, I’ve signed up to the Dermalogica wait list. It was £185 last year, beauty detective is saying it will be £229. Hoping that means bigger sizes?

I agree that the early release of the Harrods calendar was very badly managed. It sounds like they had tried to be a bit more organised this year but made a serious error wih the release date. I can remember for the last three years that it was available from about 2 am on the date that pre orders started but it seems to sell out quicker each year. I’ve been to the store to buy the fragrance calendar twice, and both times it was released on 1 September. The first year wasn’t a problem because it was a weekday but I think releasing it on a Sunday last year was a receipe for disaster.

In the same vein I'm waiting to see the Elemis one too. I debated it last year but it's quite expensive and as a brand they have hit and miss products for me.

It's one I would like but maybe will never actually buy. QVC always do a big Elemis TSV around November time which is much better value.

Agree @OvaHere love elemks but not all of it is worth the price tag, and good deals on it in Nov - usually stock up for the year!

I got last years price wrong - saw it in google search results but the page was a discount price
