Hmm, I was initially a bit deflated by JL but on re-reading, I think there's only a couple of real duds for me (that bloody ESPA body lotion again! and the PK shampoo and conditioner) and on balance, more things that I am really excited to try (Eve Lom cleanser, the Medik8 night cream, all the fragrance). And I love a lip balm/oil so I'm pleased with those, even though I currently have about 10 lip balms in my stash.

I think the decider for me will be the colour of the makeup items. If I think I'll use them, I'll probably go with JL.

I’ve gone with Liberty. I signed up for beauty drop so got £25 off. I had Liberty and JL 2 years ago and I preferred Liberty. Last year bought the Net-A-Porter in the January sale and managed to keep it until December. Liberty is still a winner with me. Quite interested to see what Charlotte Tilbury brings out,
Edited to add: I would have loved Vogue last year but it just seemed too expensive. I enjoyed in the last opening the calendar and checking in with MN every day, It was fun yo see what other thought of the products,

JLP is worth it for me with my discount . I keep toying with a fragrance one , I did enjoy the HN one last year.

I like the look of the JL calendar and it has some interesting perfumes. Not enough to break my 'no buy to tackle stash' resolution this year.....still holding out.

Where can I see what’s in the JL

JL is £235 which is £40 more than last year and I don’t think it’s as good. I’m quite relieved as that’s crossed off the list for me.

£235? Um, a massive jump! The year I had JL it was about £175 and not noticeably different in brands to this one.

I agree , I wonder if they have alot of stock that they will reduce it Black Friday . I think they had 15% off one year . I think I'm gonna hold out , if they reduce then I might buy , if not I can live without it I think .

A few will sell out but generally they might be harder to shift than last year.

Grrh - got a £50 credit from JL and was quite wanting to use it, but not on this poor effort!

I've already got that blush in that exact shade and I rarely use it and the lipstick is bright red! But I do really like the eyeshadow shades and the other lip products. So far, I think I've got 5 or 6 items going straight on Vinted. With the price increase, it might just be too much for me.
Let's see what Boots come out with...

Wow I think JL is really badly curated 3 eye creams . The two eye shadows look similar colours . 4 lip oils/glosses!
I honestly wish they had put the neom candle in at least it would have given some variety. I think there is some interesting perfumes but big disappointment overall

Well this gets easier and easier. JL is a no from me- and I had a voucher for £45 that I was planning to use towards it.
Maybe Vogue will blow it out of the water this year.
