Things that annoy me on S&B because

yes I'm in that type of mood today . . .

The main one is the often commented 'oh you can only wear that if you're tall and thin'.

I mean if you have the figure of a model it goes without saying surely you can pretty much wear anything.

But what are the rest of us meant to wear.

It may look best on someone tall and slim but that doesn't mean if you're not those things that you still can't look good.

Oh and it is allowed for people to spend £££ on clothes - just because some people don't it doesn't make those who do bad people.

And relax . . .

I spent my pregnancy on another forum (not NM incidentally) and threads about maternity clothes always had people saying "I'm just spending my pregnancy in dp's pyjamas / tracksuit bottoms / t-shirts" or "I've got some leggings and a couple of oversize Primarni tops". WTF - I'm a professional woman so those options are quite simply not an option (and even if they were I wouldn't be seen dead in either of those ensembles)!!
Could have done with S&B's links to find the things I so desperately searched for to avoid looking like a bag lady!

Georgie - the only thing I liked about pregnancy was teh really valid excuse to buy new clothes

school run dress....But it is a bit about showing off isn't it?

I am pregnant and have very much enjoyed purchasing some nice new things, have a wedding on saturday and a very nice dress to wear to it.

I'm quite a scruffy lass, but even I have embraced the SRD. One item of clothing to throw on with boots or sandals to see you through the day.

I hate the posts where people mock others' style. There was one a while ago where someone was excited about getting some purple Dr Martens, and people were soooo scathing. FFS, if we all dressed the same, we'd be in uniform.

I sometimes ask seemingly stupid Qs, but I have spent a looong time not going out in a fug of PND, and need reasurance that you can wear, for example, smart jeans to dinner midweek.
