Big paragraphs appearing when I try to reply to threads

I'm using the browser on a Samsung phone and getting a weird thing - if it happens here I'll leave it so you can see what I mean! Big spaces are appearing at the bottom of posts, like when a cat stands on the enter key. And paragraphs are jumping apart

by themselves and the cursor skips around.

It's not happening on any other sites so definitely not my phone - just had to abandon a post entirely as it was "skipping" so much it became completely unresponsive!

I'm getting this on Samsung too. If I can figure out my log in I'll try it via chrome.

I've given up checking my posts before I send them now. Maybe if the site is full of horribly formatted posts, they might do something.

See also, random boldness, inability to quote, etc.cursor jumping etc.

I'm on a samsung s21.

It seems to be a bit inconsistent with me. Sometimes it's fine, others I have to give up and use a different device instead.

Any update on this as it was flagged two months ago now?

The website is hideous and and virtually unusable for me on Samsung..

Just noticed this and I have been having this issue for a while as well. Didn't bother to say anything as I assumed it was my phone. Samsung on internet browser. Cleared cache/cookies etc. Still happening.

This is still a real problem and very frustrating. You get a few seconds to type about 1 paragraph before it all starts jumping around and inserting big spaces.

Placemarking as I'm on the cusp of giving up MN for a while because of this issue. It makes replying to any threads impossible. Im on Samsung S21 FE.

Have you tried using Chrome instead of the inbuilt Samsung browser?

It's a rubbish browser (no forward button, no clipboard), so I only use it for MN, but it does get around the glitch.

Are mn really investigating this bug? I'm not convinced. I'd expect replies from tech.

I'd switch browsers but I used a throwaway email to register and I have no idea what it is. Hope there's a fix soon.

I have to write posts in notes and copy and paste to mn, and even then mn manages to screw up what I've written. Getting really p*ssed off tbh
