For a preview of the new Talk app 3.0 - sign up to join our test group

We’d like your help testing a new release of the Mumsnet Talk App 3.0 (beta).

This app is for iPhones and iPads on iOS8 only at the moment.

We'd love it if you can give the app a good workout - using it as you normally do - to read and post in Talk. please do bear in mind that the app is still in beta version, so some things may not work perfectly. We have made a few changes since our last test release.

You can use any email address to sign up.
You need to be logged in to sign up. (If you can't see the sign up page, make sure you are logged in.)
It is LIVE. Any posts you make will be seen on the Mumsnet site for all to see. We'll send you an invitation to download the app (it will arrive via the TestFlight service).

Talk app users

This app will replace the current Talk app (2.1) on your phone if you have it.

Recent beta Talk app testers (Testflight 1.0)

If you have been involved in recent app testing, you will end up with two app icons (1.0 & 3.0) on your device. You can uninstall the previous beta app (it will stop working this week).
If you previously signed up for this - but didn't accept & download the app - you will need to sign up again.

I'm not certain reporting posts is working on the app. I have reported two posts and not heard anything from MNHQ.
First was the how to choose an au pair thread in home childcare - there is s piece of blatant advertising there.
Second in secondary education the DS/DD school uniform thread - it's the plimsole/canvas shoe poster again.

That's interesting - I've reported quite a few posts and heard nothing back. I assumed that was just normal??
