How's everyone today? Another rainy day here, I'm getting tired of being in the house. I always feel better when we get out, it gets me motivated to do more in the house once we get home.

Fine here was up earlyish need to do the pit of doom today AKA DS's room he also has an asthma review this afternoon told him were walking as he needs the exercise. Weathers horrible. Still haven't been to tip to take all the bags from my room must do that today need to have whole house spotless before going away will keep my mind occupied apart from anything else.

I'm grand, just back from coffee with a friend. Lucky we got back because it just started bucketing down.

I'm away at the weekend and want to get the house clean too dotty, I hate going away and leaving the house dirty (something DH can't comprehend at all).

I have just been offered the chance to exhibit my survivor therapy photo's, as a child sexual abuse survivor, in a public gallery. Everyone cried talking about it and we agreed it should be anonymous, with the photo's labelled as "names", a little card people can take away and a comment book.

It feels like a positive step forward although we are all aware they may be backlash.

How do you feel about doing an exhibition natural?

I'm not away until the 14th but also want a day out with DD2 and have another session next week as well, pit of doom is done just as well his room is tiny he's going to put all the bags in the boot for me. DD2's bf has booked a week off work for whilst where away so he's going to stay here with her if that little shit of a stepson starts she'll be safe with him. He'll have police up straight away

I feel great about the exhibition, there's so many misunderstandings and ignorance. I know people may get offended but if it helps one person it's worth it. The exhibition people apologised for me having to be a survivor and awareness raiser but said it would have more impact as I am a survivor. I approached them so I'm in control and they keep reiterating that I'm in control, which is good.

Yes he is I put up with him longer than DH TBH he's caused all sorts of trouble for us and his poor mum police where called here 3 times in 24 hours in january last year threatening to break my windows etc broke down in police station when they released him in front of an officer I know he had to calm me down I was hystericalhe nearly drove me to a breakdown the year before that's why I told DC it couldn't get any worse a year little did I know. Him and his cousin have treatened DD2 in front of her bf's db who's built like a truck as well been reported to police yet again don't need this crap again have enough stress in my life to deal with.

Can get an order at court but in region of £500 to implement all the parts of it he's had a solicitors letter but denied getting it chased me through a supermarket carpark to 'talk' told him to stay away and was called a crazy woman he needs assessing by MH services even the police have said so but he's an adult and thaey can't do anything bar arrest him.

I saw that thread dotty and I was going to post but I don't have the energy. People with that view just don't change their minds. I think the only thing that would change their minds is if they or someone close to them was actually raped, and I would never wish that on anyone. Let them bumble away in their ignorance, we just have to hope the "I believe you" message gets out there more strongly to counteract their well-meaning stupidity.
