CailinDana · 11/06/2012 22:02

What's up mashed?

OP posts:
MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:07

How's you? I'm really glad it went ok with your DH, spill the beans, my head was a bit mashed :o with infected tooth, antibiotics working now so feel much better, have some Wine

My mother gave me a special photo of my childhood dog as a puppy, made a big fuss over it, same colour, same size, same collar, face half hidden by a rug. Even ds says it looks the spit of my old dog.

It's a fucking charridy card of some dog called benny!

There's no hope for me :o I'm up psycho street without a paddle.

Offred · 11/06/2012 22:11

That is mad! Mashed, absolutely bonkers!!! [shocked]

All talked out now really, very exhausted.

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:13

Hi Cailin,

Pyscho creek ffs :o

I'm either seriously stoopid or she's the queen of manipulation.

I ain't skilled psycho enough to counter attack that.

Lays out doormat with psycho deterent on it.

She also now thinks I want to keep her stuff! what planet are you on ma! huh huh! grr

Offred · 11/06/2012 22:14

Why does she think that? Just put it out FFS! She can have it!

Offred · 11/06/2012 22:14

Crazy!

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:14

Hugs offred

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:18

I know but somehow "I've left your stuff in the shed, the key is with the neighbour" gets translated in her twisted little mind too "I want to keep it"

I'm presuming she's planning how to convince me to keep it, this has been going on a year, I should have just dumped it.

Offred · 11/06/2012 22:20

Surely you can still! Dont let her dictate. There'll just be endless silly games. Give her a choice of ways to get it and a time limit and then either chuck it or drop it at a police station.

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:34

I know sigh, this is the woman who tracked me down across 2 countries.

My psyche is going to help me prepare, hopefully!

T minus xdays and counting.

"You make me wanna die" changed to "oh do fuck orf goodbye"

How's even one else?

Throws out fredjackets lifejackets see :o

CailinDana · 11/06/2012 22:46

Your mum is a nutter mashed.

I'm good, have had a quiet evening.

How are you feeling Offred?

OP posts:
Offred · 11/06/2012 22:49

Wow! No words!!

Grin so tired, can't sleep.

Offred · 11/06/2012 22:53

I don't know cailin! Ok. Have done things today. Was not a write off. Done a lot of talking and sorting out feelings in a lot of ways. Big dcs saw their dad (dreading) but was fine. Dd1 was ok going to school and coming home (trouble settling in) which was good. Couldn't have dealt with the stress today!

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:56

Swapsies anyone :o

When do you visit yours Cailin?

Deep breathing Offred, very relaxing so boring you'll be asleep in seconds

MashedPoetaytoe · 11/06/2012 22:59

CailinDana · 11/06/2012 23:06

CailinDana · 12/06/2012 07:16

Morning Offred, how's it going?

OP posts:
Offred · 12/06/2012 07:41

Ok, still feel a bit numb. Things are a bit weird. What about you cailin?

Belleflowers · 12/06/2012 07:45

morning
trying to have a quiet tea and toast before school run
dcs kicked off at bedtime yest after a busy day - put them to bed at 7pm and crashed myself right through (medication helped ahem)
Hate the noise when overtired DCs kick off - really reminds me of back then, stupi I know- but am proud that I didnt resort to any other methods my mother would have used...I ended up telling them i wont buy any more biscuits this week and gave them a hug (????) but it worked, calmed them right down, they got the message and had a story.

Now, I do ask myself, this morning, why the f* couldnt my mother have just adapted her behaviour like that when things were not going as planned in her 'home' rather than resorting to violent outbursts to us all?

loser

enjoy your breakfast all

Will prob pop back in again later with a coffee and a quiet house when both are at their places of learning today

still exhausted from her weekend visit according to DH anyhow

dottyspotty2 · 12/06/2012 08:09

Morning all early night done me good bit beyond a joke how early though, couldn't find my pills woke at 10 and 12.30 so not bad for me.

CailinDana · 12/06/2012 08:14

Sorry got distracted by toddler issue! I'm fine Offred thanks. What do you mean when you say "things are a bit weird"?

Belle I think some people enjoy screaming at and beating children, it makes them feel powerful. Why else would people defend smacking etc? There's no need for it, yet some parents still insist on using it. The only reason could be that they actually want to do it.

Glad you slept well dotty.
