I'm Mouse and I've been on the bus for 2 months now and not fallen off it as yet. It's much more comfortable than The Wagon!

Anyway, this is thread number nine!

Everyone is welcome to join at any point of the journey, drinking or not, wanting to stop or just to cut down.

WTF, I've been in bed for 3 days and there's 17 pages of posts to catch up on

I had my horribly painful tooth out on Thursday and have had some clotting issues due to dangerously high BP, has meant I have been flat out feeling dizzy and sick ever since - I'm dizzy by name, dizzy by nature! Have felt very bad and hate being no use to man nor beast (DH ans DS) but I have caught up on a ton of 24 and had lots of lovely sleep.

I'm back at work now for my last week (very anxious) so will catch up on all the posts I've missed, what are they gonna do, fire me

For now a blanket 'hello' and I'll see you later when I've caught up x

Morning everyone, had one of those days yesterday where everything just got on top of me and ended up drinking a bottle of wine:( Won't travel on bus today because would end up with travel sickness on top of busting headache which will not shift:(

Gerald (bus) is ready to roll thanks to Wasinde - we shall wait for Mouse to return from her appointment and then we shall be setting off.

I drank yesterday for no reason other than pure self-pity! Everything got on top of me, tired of being pulled at from every direction, and just wanted to blot everything out. And no, the drink didn't help, depression kicked in big style this morning, headache won't shift (reckon blood pressure is now sky high) and I feel like shit.

Desire - isn't that the reason so many of us drink - I know I do - and we all know it won't help but still do it.

It's done now - forget about it and move on - no point feeling bad about it - you can't change it so look forwards not backwards.

Today is a new day - one day at a time.

There is a special seat on the bus for you today that magics away hangovers so get on board girl.

Morning all. Wow some great posts on here last night and this morning. Lovely ladies.

I am back to day 1.

Hope all went well at the hospital Mouse.

Phew!

I'm here. Tahnks for waiting for me. No Red?

Oh well, who can I snuggle up to? I'm FREEZING!!!

The hospital went really well, his new Community Paed (psychology based) is lovely, thank God.

Nemo is behind by a few months in all areas of his development but given that he has spent most of his life fighting just to be here, I think that's expected!

What it means is he now has a more dedicated team of carers in place and will get Portage, physio, a social worker, a statement before he goes to school and all the other support he needs!

SaLT is already in place so just a case of getting him where he needs to be. He'll be assessed in three month's time too and then again two months after that.

So, other than Dizzy nearly dying from a tooth extraction, poor thing, how are we all?

Hungover? Clear headed? Feeling guilty or actully not because you/we didn't drink yesterday?

And BTW - thank you all so much for your well wishes! I was just nervous about yet another team getting involved with Nemo's care.
