For £1.25m you'd think they'd have made it tidy!

I know Stoke Newington in London is an expensive area but really!

I'm assuming it's currently rented out and the landlord doesn't want to miss out on a penny of his/her rent.

Are you having a fucking giraffe 1.25 million for that wow..I knew London was expensive but there's no way I'd pay that price for that!

elQuintoConyo · 06/04/2018 21:06

Time to move abroad...

oh yes please

HeedMove · 06/04/2018 21:10

Still waiting to hear what's wrong with Bangor ...

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 06/04/2018 21:15

The tenants have very likely been given notice. And/or are expected to put up with viewers traipsing around their home.

In those circs I don't think I'd bother tidying up in order to help my LL sell - and I say that as a LL myself.

The stone cladding is hideous. I don't know whether that's been taken into account in the pricing - if not it certainly ought to be. Getting that dreadful stuff off is a major operation.

happychange · 06/04/2018 21:34

Lol I'm just thinking now whoever is selling this will be looking at the page views on the property and be ASTOUNDED Grin
So many people interested in this place???

Erm well - everything.

PunjanaTea · 06/04/2018 22:53

The attitude of that ‘oh it’s London so it’s going to be expensive’ and the absolute insistence that nothing in London could possibly be over priced is a bit Hmm

Sure it’s going to be more expensive than other parts of the country but the vendor for that house is totally chancing their arm, particularly in the current market.

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 00:00

Tatiana

Are you referring to bangor in wales because if you are then you might want to look at my posts more closely. They are Bangor, Northern Ireland. Nothing you can buy in 'London' will compare. But I'm sure your enjoying your cramped 1 bed flat 🖕

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 00:01

Tatiana

You have give us such a laugh here tonight 😀🤣

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 00:06

Bluebell1981

That is a stunning house but beware that Tatiana may not approve as it is Bangor 😆. Maybe she should do a bit of geographical research.

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 00:08

We should all move to the outskirts of London and get ourselves a 2 up, 2 down. Eh no thanks. I'll stick with my nice house thanks.

Tatiana

ScattyCharly · 07/04/2018 00:14

Poor buggers who live there. Probably knackered and overwhelmed from working ridiculous hours all to pay rent/mortgage on a £1.25m house Sad. Perhaps getting divorced as never see eacother.
Like others, you could get an mansion with 10 beds and a pool near me for that money.
I don’t envy people living there even though the are many times over richer than us

ijustwannadance · 07/04/2018 00:35

London prices are absurd.
You could buy a whole street of those houses in my area for that price!

ScreamingValenta · 07/04/2018 00:52

This is where I'd be moving if I had that sum at my disposal in my region:

Love looking at all these beautiful houses!

ScreamingValenta · 07/04/2018 01:01

@Westnorwood

That one is far better than the one in the OP!

EnidButton · 07/04/2018 02:48

Higgedly I've always wondered who owns those huge places along lake Windermere. I have questions! Grin Are they from the area and where did the money come from/how are they so wealthy? Nosy as feck I know but thought I'd seize the opportunity to ask.

AltheaorDonna · 07/04/2018 03:39

Maggiemuff I agree with Tatiana, although I was actually going to say I wouldn’t live in Lisburn or Bangor if you paid me a million quid. And yes I’ve been to both, I’m NI born and bred. I escaped a long time ago though.

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 07:02

Althea

How rude.

maggiemuff · 07/04/2018 07:05

Althea

Also if you were paid £1mill I am sure you would live in either. London prices are ridiculous, and there is certainly not a better quality of live.

Mrsfrumble · 07/04/2018 07:45

Huh. Vive la differance! We're happy in London (although we're not rich and don't own a £1.25 million house!) Others like living in Bangor, which I'm sure is lovely (and you get to be smug about your reasonably priced property).

No need to get so heated.

Mrsfrumble · 07/04/2018 07:46

I think we all agree that the cladding on that house is shit though Grin
