I know Stoke Newington in London is an expensive area but really!

I'm assuming it's currently rented out and the landlord doesn't want to miss out on a penny of his/her rent.

Slum landlord I think. But they could have opened the curtains and cleaned the toilet! It's almost as if they made it look as bad as it possibly could - perhaps a strategy on the tenants' part?

The only time I can look around my two bed terrace and truthfully think its better than a house costing £1million+, so cheers for this

Yup. Grin

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 06/04/2018 13:51

It would be the bathroom with that disgusting loo which would put me off! All the fittings are so cheap looking and it would take you for ever to clear the 'garden'!!

Youcouldbemysilversprings · 06/04/2018 13:54

Holy crap batman! You could buy that for about £50k where I live in Northern Ireland 😳

NinonDeLenclos · 06/04/2018 13:55

That's just the standard London price for a house that size not too far from the centre.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 06/04/2018 13:57

Oh god that’s grim. Welcome to London folks!

I thank my stars a million times we bought our London house before prices went stratospheric.

Alwayslumpyporridge · 06/04/2018 13:57

Why did the vendors approve those photo's! they are awful, not even putting down the toilet lid, yuck. I hope that it doesn't sell.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 06/04/2018 13:59

Even tidy it'd be a shit hole - over a million quid!!

Rafflesway · 06/04/2018 14:00

Unreal! 😱😱😱

MayFayner · 06/04/2018 14:01

It's rented and the tenants were still in situ when photos were taken.

EasterBunBun · 06/04/2018 14:01

It was the hideous faux stone cladding on the front that makes that price a joke, even for Zone 2. That's a bit more than a clear up and a lick of paint :/

And the loo lid up

StarUtopia · 06/04/2018 14:02

What a shithole!

You could have this near me instead...

Nice house

Knittedfairies · 06/04/2018 14:04

Maybe they did tidy up...

iMatter · 06/04/2018 14:05

What a shithole.

And what a mess.

And the loo seat up

Thisnamechanger · 06/04/2018 14:05

I living within spitting distance of this house...it is an expensive area but I'd be surprised if they got that much for it.

Thishatisnotmine · 06/04/2018 14:06

How much?!

BitOutOfPractice · 06/04/2018 14:06

StarUtopia isn't that gorgeous?

UpstartCrow · 06/04/2018 14:06

I grew up in a house like that. £1.25 million!

stinksworth · 06/04/2018 14:08

🤢 the toilet.

Bluntness100 · 06/04/2018 14:09

Fairly typical pricing for location, the owners will take their shit with them.

I wouldn't automatically asssume renters, it could be the owners, some people live like that and don't see a problem with it. That might even be it tidy.

BitOutOfPractice · 06/04/2018 14:09

This is what you'd get for the same money near me

That's 40 minutes outside London

Doublechocolatetiffin · 06/04/2018 14:10

Wow, that is an awful lot of money for such a shit hole. Even in that part of London (admittedly I don’t know the area well) it seems like the vendor is dreaming.

Doublechocolatetiffin · 06/04/2018 14:12

I’d rather buy this one two streets over for £100k less and with an extra bedroom.

Doublechocolatetiffin · 06/04/2018 14:12

Hey - Check out this property I found via the Zoopla App -

CuriousaboutSamphire · 06/04/2018 14:14

Slum landlord I think. What? You mean Shitehawk of a tenant!

The house itself looks OK, but the crap inside isn't down to a landlord - that is ALL Occupier lifestyle!
