loti i had a cunning way to get ds to take his medicine, dd1 might be a bit old but... i told him that the doctor would be cross if he didn't take it. after every dose, i "phoned" the doctor and told him what a good boy T had been and then passed on a message to T from the doctor about how good he was and that the doctor was pleased. worked a treat!

CrispyTheCrisp · 31/01/2011 19:59

TS you are a whirlwind of action & achievement as per usual

hots ouch for your foot. But at least you have lots of wood to keep you warm? Well done to Thor on his self service skills. DD1 helps herself to milk, juice, carrots & grapes. More tasty treats are out of reach Wink

loti poor DD1, she has been through the mill with illness. Are the docs looking to see if there is any other underlying cause for her being so prone to them?

bbbb i will guarantee the double buggy will be even more use when they are both trying to scarper in different directions Confused

Went to pilates this evening, back at 7.15 and DH had both DD's in bed and almost asleep. Just a quick kiss from me was all that was required. Fab Smile

luckoftheirish · 31/01/2011 20:18

Chocolate buttons administered already!! Looks like I am going to have to do school trips at lunch time to administer as well when she is feeling ready for school Hmm

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 01/02/2011 18:18

Here Miss. Nursing DH post snip! He is mazingly not being naff about it at all yet. He is apologising for sitting about doing nothing.

Back later it is bath time for girls then fish and chips for dinner.

to you lot. I am finally getting round to sorting my report out which has to go now, with DD2 yelling and stomping round her room in the background Hmm

DH is helpfully away.....

BibiBelle · 01/02/2011 19:41

send her up here Crisp, it's like survival of the fittest but she's welcome!

OP posts:
blueberryboybaitonSafari · 01/02/2011 19:59

Bibi - I have no doubt Crispy's DD2 will survive and possibly hop a couple of places in the hierarchy!

CrispyTheCrisp · 01/02/2011 20:03

Should have taken you up on that bibi, she finally did a stonkingly smelly poo on the potty and has now crashed out snoring. No idea where she inherited that set of actions from Hmm

bbbb you are right - she will pull anyones hair to get to the top!

HippyHippopotamus · 01/02/2011 20:42

crispy said
she (dd2) will pull anyones hair to get to the top

and she also said
No idea where she inherited that set of actions from

Grin
CrispyTheCrisp · 01/02/2011 20:52

Ah, now you are twisting things hips Shock

Ackersherley i used to pull my sisters hair and hold her against the wall Blush

BibiBelle · 01/02/2011 20:56

BBBB I have every faith in E too which is why I offered. Pathetic Wailing children need not apply GrinWink

hasn't anyone got a fecking cheery reason for winning cake ?! I'm about to slit my wrists here!

OP posts:
blueberryboybaitonSafari · 01/02/2011 20:58

Because it's cake!!!! Because it is DD2's 9 month birthday :) Because the mornings are getting lighter and spring is starting to sprung!

CrispyTheCrisp · 01/02/2011 21:01

So i can give it away to my lovely childminder. Coz she is lovely? Smile

CaptainCaveman · 01/02/2011 21:02

Can I have cake BB? I've written about 18000 words of my diss and the end is in sight Grin. eRm, and I erm erm...shit,can't think of a good reason, but I am cheery Grin

lol at crispy and minicrispy inheriting her merciless achieving ways Wink

loti sorry to hear dd1 is poorly again, you too. Don't the school administer GP prescribed meds? I love hippy's idea of phoning the gp, I might employ that one myself! Grin

I really shouldn't have had those 2 weeks off you know, I've got sooo podgy eating too many chocs and letting dh lead my usually goood eating habits astray...I mean, fish and chips plus pizza x 2 nights all within one week Shock. I have thighs which are threatening to chafe one another...

CaptainCaveman · 01/02/2011 21:04

salta safe and happy travels for you all tomorrow Smile - let me know if you're anywhere near Notts or surrounding area for a get together?

BibiBelle · 01/02/2011 21:05
