Please tell me it's not just me. It happened tonight at school parents meeting. Stood up after a nice chat with the maths teacher and there is it, the diamond shaped condensation patch of doom.

I nearly name changed because i am very embarrassed, but fuck it.

This happens to me!

Most embarrassing when I was loaded in to an ambulance and the wheelchair they had me on had a massive steamy patch on it. I tried and tried for them to let me walk so I can do the bum shuffle but they were having none of it.

Yes it's happened to me.

Works canteen, plastic chairs and the kind of table configuration where when you're leaving, one person has to get up first and push the chair in before the next person stand up and gets out #complicated

I stood up, turned round, saw the patch and stared. As did my colleague, who was waiting for me to move and wondered what I was looking at. We stared together, before making eye contact and both dying inside a little bit.

If I'm on a plastic of leather seat I make a mental note to slide off it sideways. It happens irrespective of what underwear I've got on.

Me too, although Ive always assumed its a sweaty bum, altho not sure that a steamy fanjo is any better.

The twist and slide thing doesn't work if you're wearing 100% pure nylon. Also, if you're carrying a tad too much surplus flesh at the top of the thigh, it can get a bit stuck and squeaky.
It's a real problem.

This is so me. Especially when I so the clinical reviews ar work. Think 8/9 people in a tiny room sitting on fake leather chairs and I'm wearing the hideous polyester nursing uniform.... I'm always the last one to leave and I pile all the notes on my knee so I don't have to stand up to dp the handshaking the doctors seem to like to do.

Yes this happens to me too...steamy fanjo to the front, hot arse to the back = sweaty diamond of shame.

I'll be deploying the twist and slide from now on.

Yep happened here too. I do the slide or get up and put my bag on the chair whilst pretending to straighten myself up.

Is it possible that this has been happening to me for the last half century and I haven't noticed? I'd notice, wouldn't I? Please tell me I'd notice. Have other people noticed for me? Oh dear lord, what fresh hell of angst have you unleashed, Clopy?

Would be-tighted thighs get stuck? I'd have thought the material would assist the sliding, although tights do give me more condensation tbh.
