What was your favourite MN thread of all time?

I have just searched for it and can't bloody find it.

It was about 3 years ago, was started by cod and was something like 'what snazzy recipes did your mother cook in the 70s' or something.

It was hysterical.

I also loved the thread where we were invaded by the pram huns, Crap Tips (in classics but sadly useless as the links don't work), Shopping lists, "is that you UCM" and "Linda is a hospital administrator"

Also really loved the lefties threads during the election last year.

And my own "fuck I might be pregnant" saga Grin

Oooooo I want to see the cube of poo thread... Please please please does anyone know where/how to find it?

BrainSurgeon · 08/04/2011 16:32

ROFL at willy windmills!!!! .... wondering what Jack Russeling might be???

Cattleprod · 08/04/2011 16:36

Cube of Poo

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 08/04/2011 16:37

Ahhhh BALD thank you so much for linking to the easter bonnet thread (and picture still on that OP's profile), it is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

I didn't realise that was you, LTA - how are the plans coming along?

What's all this about celery and Michael Jackson's death?

I love the one in classics about stupid things you have said, especially the poster who attempted to gather her children to leave a crowded place by calling "come along, little people!", only to see AT LEAST ONE actual "little person" looking at her in disgust/confusion.

Cattleprod · 08/04/2011 16:37

Sorry, my mistake - that link is for the Pouffe of Poo. Equally funny.Grin

So many poo threads...

tortilla · 08/04/2011 16:38

The one with the woman who wanted to name her son Konor or Konnor and insisted this was an accepted version of Connor with a long history rather than a made up K-replacing-C version despite everyone telling her she was talking nonsense. In the end, I think she might just have called him something like James (or maybe I made that bit up!)

Loved the poo pouffe and the recent Arizonagirl/Beauden one too.

MajesticScallop · 08/04/2011 16:46

Oh great heavens ElephantsAndMiasmas that was me with the small people!!

Can't believe I have been referenced in a thread about a thread (and a thread about the funniest threads at that!!!).

You have absolutely Made My Day. Feel like I have arrived at last!

Howling with laughter at the Poooufe thread...

LizaTarbucksAuntie · 08/04/2011 17:19

ElephantsandMiasmas - great thanks for asking :) we're very excited and DP is behaving very well about spending all the money. When I was describing the theme my hairdresser to sort out hairstyles she claimed it all sounded a bit darling buds of may, which I rather liked.

SpringFollows · 08/04/2011 17:23

Booble plate. I had been lurking on MN (got sucked in by a bumsex japanese eel fetish thread) and then read the booble plate. I laughed so hard i cried.

Quattrocento · 08/04/2011 17:24

Can't do without a bit of sexual technics

Quodlibet · 08/04/2011 17:35

Where is the pouffe of poo thread? Could do with a bit of cheering up.

AtYourCervix · 08/04/2011 17:39

anything involving haiku.

bibbitybobbityhat · 08/04/2011 17:41

Just remembered, my third favourite is the thread of poetic eulogies to Threadworm's dead guinea pig. That one is in classics. So funny and sweet and poignant.

BrainSurgeon · 08/04/2011 17:47

See Cattleprod's post at 16:36 - that's actually the Pouffe thread

BerryLellow · 08/04/2011 17:56

Definitely the one about taking horses to the Olympics. It must have been in Chat, which is a real shame.
