I have just searched for it and can't bloody find it.

It was about 3 years ago, was started by cod and was something like 'what snazzy recipes did your mother cook in the 70s' or something.

It was hysterical.

I also loved the thread where we were invaded by the pram huns, Crap Tips (in classics but sadly useless as the links don't work), Shopping lists, "is that you UCM" and "Linda is a hospital administrator"

Also really loved the lefties threads during the election last year.

And my own "fuck I might be pregnant" saga Grin

This one

And this one

Still snurking at bag o' mash Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:43

Oh yes the career mothers thread where we al changed our names to Garryisawanker or something.

Chav Chic thread must have been in chat as well.

Mine is the "My DS was touched by a working class child in the park - what should I do?" one from years ago. Someone suggested she shower the DS in a good Claret.

Supersoaker one was great. And the original of the Cunting... threads - Cunting Sainsburys. Greensleeves and Rhubarb (I think) just ended up swearing at each other for what looked like most of the night.

And most of Slubber's threads . She guarantees a laugh.

Portofino · 07/04/2011 13:44

The Cha0s thread Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:45

I agree Slubber has a cracking turn of phrase.

One which made me laugh - I wasn't on the thread at the time - but slubber et al had a thread where they were all making cakes, and they were arguing about how high you had to sift flour from (or something, I can't remember exactly). Cue on Slubber's profile a picture of her sifting flour out of an upstairs window (she had got her DH to take the pic).

Cunting Sainsburys made me roar.

Portofino you genius

That thread is wonderful - I love it that Chaos says 'I am without the fourth vowel'

really, really funny.

That's the first time one of my posts has been deleted. It was a libellous haiku.

I was quite proud of my libellous haiku, and was a little sad when it was deleted.

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 07/04/2011 13:49

Oh yes, Slubber's High Sift!! I think the photo's still on her profile - the lengths (heights??) some people will go to to win an argument.........

2blessed2bstressed · 07/04/2011 13:51

I loved the thread where the OP dyed her dds pony pink for her birthday party....wasn't long after I first joined MN and I just sat and cried laughing for about 15 minutes Smile

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:51

Oh yes the high sift is still on her profile.

God knows why a picture of a woman's arm with a sieve in it is so funny but it is. And it says something lovely about Slubber and her DH that she shares such madness with him and he joins in Grin

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 07/04/2011 14:10

Well well well - lookee here at what I've found Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 14:13

Bloody hell Pol - can't believe you found that! Thought that chat threads were deleted after 30 days.

Bitter LOVE LOVE LOVE your MN Lord's Prayer from that link [wipes tears from eyes]

Bumperlicioso · 07/04/2011 14:18

How has no one mentioned lisalisa's dirty knickers in son's lunch bag?! Sadly gone into chat thread heaven, she didn't want it in classics.

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 07/04/2011 14:19

90 days, GetOrf, 90 days. In fact, I personally think your POAS thread was funnier but that's coz I was on fire that day Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 14:21

Bitterandtwisted's first link - the St Moritz fake tan is hysterical.

I had forgtten about that - that is a really funny thread

YouaretooniceNOT · 07/04/2011 14:25

Salmotrutta - fur coat arguments - yep i remember that thread too Grin

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:30

So many, so many...

Tub o' mash was one
The woman who wanted to take B&Q to Claims Direct because her DD walked into a plastic leaflet holder and severley cut her shoulder and cried out in pain.
Slightly biased but the TripAdvisor thread made my cheeks hurt through sheer laughing.

FlaminGreatGallah · 07/04/2011 15:31

Has the snazziest recipe thread been linked?

Have only skimmed but it's one of my favourite threads too.

dinkystinky · 07/04/2011 15:34

BobbieWickham's thread where she got stuck in an all saints dress - couldnt figure out how to put it on or take it off - had me weeping with laughter

and the one where Pagwatch found a mystery vehicle on her drive

Pinkjenny · 07/04/2011 15:36

Booble plate

FlaminGreatGallah · 07/04/2011 15:39

Ah I see Mike has already.

In that case I nominate Large Clay Cock and Tiny Wanker.

oohlaalaa · 07/04/2011 15:47

This thread

MrsChemist · 07/04/2011 15:54

I liked the TripAdvisor one as well. Did that make it to classics?

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:57

Yes it is in Classics.

Sometimes I think about Dillie? and hustler? and falure father when I am out on my own and I BURST out laughing Blush
