Morning all.

Despite my intentions, I still woke up early this morning. However, it was an hour or so later than usual, so that's an extra hour!

Anyway, here's the spreadsheet for you to record the results of last week

I hope the results are good!

Just remember that weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little/no weight loss!

You have a choice to make now. You can either stick to Bootcamp, if it suits you, or you can move on to Bootcamp Light, which means you can re-introduce some fruit (berries) and some nuts/seeds as well as alcohol - all in moderation.

However, given the issue with weeks 3 & 4, you might decide you want to stay on Bootcamp. That in itself is no guarantee that you will lose, but at least you know you're being as strict as you can be!

Some people choose a hybrid, which is Bootcamp Light at the weekend, but stay on Bootcamp during the week.

Whatever you choose, just be aware that from here on, we're looking to see a loss of around 1-2lbs per week. Which is a good and healthy loss!

Here's to a good week Flowers

Thanks, I'll have a look next time I'm shopping.

oopsadaisy77 · 30/10/2018 22:12

Has anyone noticed an improvement with mood?
Have your thoughts of food lessened?

Tomorrow lunch will be a challenge but tomorrow eve is aubergine parmigiana mmmmm.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 30/10/2018 22:45

Evening all. I think I'm starting to feel less hungry now which I'm liking, I tend to give in yo any slight hunger pangs and boredom by eating, especially when at home as its half term right now. But I don't seem to be doing that too much. Hoping to stay strict this week and see dome good loss, however I'm now on my own with DH away for 3 nights do my patience and ability to avoid a glass of red once the kids are finally in bed might be too much..
B. Cream coffee
L. 2 x Boiled eggs, couple of cocktail sausages, really didn't want anything else.
D. Curry made with leftover roast chicken, pumpkin which I'd roasted for making soup, cauli, brocoli and a tiny bit of onion. Went down really well, dd had seconds! I had mine with coconut cream and cauli rice.
I've just eaten two babybels and cup of peppermint tea. Going to look out for that buttermint tea, sounds lush.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 30/10/2018 23:20

Oh, meant to ask, has anyone had aching legs and arms with bootcamp? It's almost like restless legs, just really achy.

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 30/10/2018 23:38

Magnesium deficiency, need some fine powder or the spray from Barret and Holland. Use it on my knuckles when the ache.

Tables apparently don't absorb brilliantly or quick enough before leaving the body. Some put a link in last weeks thread about it.

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 31/10/2018 00:03

drcarolyndean.com/magnesium_miracle/

she does sell supplements because people told her after 20 years of not finding the right stuff she should patent and sell it.

Has some good reading and a few videos for those interestd in the science and research.

sorry for not finding the original link whomever posted it first

Morning all,

Managed to do #2s but very little, perhaps I am simply not wasting so much food as I have been.
Thanks for all the advice.

Cheese for breakfast and black coffee, my appetite has gone off somewhere and hid-am sure I read somewhere this is a good thing? I'm not spending all day every day thinking about food which is a bloody revelation tbh!

Tomo is my anniversary- 9 yrs, we are booked into a steakhouse which seemed like the sensible option for staying on plan.

Have to go get my 11year up and persuade him into the bath-he's going through a grim grubby stage it's hard going!

See you later everyone stay strong thanks day!

Doilooklikeatourist · 31/10/2018 07:38

Morning all , back to work today ( work in a small restaurant, food everywhere , and I cook , so I have to taste things ... no pressure )
Had a really sore tum last night , think I may have overdone the fat , so will try and have a less rich day today
Thinking
B Greek yog, with a couple of raspberries
L Veg Soup
D Salmon fillet and green veg
Will top the water up with some lemon and ginger tea as it’s really cold here

Onlyaprawn · 31/10/2018 08:27

Morning all. Yes @oopsadaisy77 I've definitely noticed a change in mood. Haven't felt so happy and positive for a very long time. My self esteem is much better too because I feel in control of my eating rather than binging on bread and crisps and then hating myself.

blackteaplease · 31/10/2018 08:31

Hi all, I'm feeling good today, how is everyone else?

I am definitely less hungry now, just need to break the snack habit!

prettybird · 31/10/2018 08:40

I definitely feel more positive on this WoE. Smile

If my "Get up and go" has "got up and gone", I can usually find it again by getting back on the wagon Smile must not beat myself up for falling off the wagon Wink

It's not just the positive effect of seeing results on the scales - it's that I feel better overall. Smile

Rshard · 31/10/2018 08:51

Been a bit absent this week, had the flu jab on Monday and it made me really unwell but feeling better now.

This woe definitely improves my mood, my skin is better too and i usually sleep better although not presently as I’m sleeping so badly.

LeapinLizards · 31/10/2018 09:34

I agree that this WOE is excellent for feeling in control and avoiding mood and energy slumps. I'm anticipating a hard day ahead, though, because I've been awake since 3.05am - HIDEOUS! Woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm getting into the Halloween spirit by looking and acting like a zombie! Grin

BIWI · 31/10/2018 10:23

@abbey44 building on @StuntNun's comments - it looks to me like you're not eating enough protein or fat!

Very glad to hear everyone seems to be feeling good! I hate this time of year, when we slide into cold, grey and dampness. But there's something lovely about these bright blue skies and sunny days that keeps me feeling up. (Well, it's like that in SW London, not sure about anywhere else in the UK Grin)

Steel grey sky here in Glasgow but not actually raining Smile

But the good news is that I am getting my mojo back and actually trying to get organised again, after a period of not having any focus Smile

abbey44 · 31/10/2018 11:36

Point taken BIWI - I had a cheese omelette for breakfast, so that should tick those boxes.

Beautiful day here, been out with the dogs, now going to spend the afternoon painting, practising with them as I've booked myself on an animal portrait painting holiday next week and don't want to make a complete tit of myself.

I've also had my flu jab in the last week, together with a whole load of other vaccinations I need for Sierra Leone, including the yellow fever one yesterday, which I've heard is a bit of a brute. I'm waiting for it all to kick in...

WheelyWheelySpookilicousCotee · 31/10/2018 13:18

LipstickForADogwalk · 01/11/2018 09:28

Morning all! Hope everyone is off to a good start today. BIWI, I seem to have lost the spreadsheet! It’s not appearing on my Google sheets and when I go back to your post and click on the link, I’m told I need permission to access it?! Any ideas what’s going on?

BIWI · 01/11/2018 10:25

Oh no! @LipstickForADogwalk - no idea! @AthelstaneTheUnready needs to come along and sort that I'm afraid.

I agree with everyone who has said they feel better mood wise on this WoE, which is always good as I do haye this time of year. I also don't get all strange and light headed before lunch like I used to!
Yesterday's food:
B: Yoghurt
L: Spicy pumpkin soup and a piece of cheese
S: 2x coffe with cream and pate/cucumber
D: Roast pork, spaghetti squash bake and cabbage

Today:
B: Nothing, not feeling hungry!
L: Pumpkin soup and cheese
S: Slice of cold roast pork and cucumber
D: Something with mince! Maybe home made burgers with stuffed mushrooms and mashed celeriac.

I think I'm adjusting to drinking more water, I've always really struggled with drinking enough as I don't feel thirsty very often. I used to forget to have a drink until after lunch time as I just didn't feel thirsty at all.
Now I feel thirsty when I wake up and need a drink straight away! It's great, my kidneys must be happier with all this water!
