What do you think of the Iris and Peter Robinson Affair

I don't know, I find him a bit odd. I can't imagine she is/was that happy in the relationship if she had an affair. I wonder if her affair was all her fault? He doesn't sound like he's forgiven her in his statement.

Is it all such a big deal because of their moral views?

moondog the Robinsons political advisor went to the BBC with the story
The BBC then issued i list of question to them
They got no response then following day the Robinsons issued their own statements, the day before the spolight show went on air!

Thought it was all abit sus when she mentioned fincial dealing in her statement about the affair and knew more was to come but I was surprised at what exactly it was tbh

thought it would be a case of comforting a widower etc

Surely the next chapter has him papped cottaging on the NI version of Hampstead Heath or one of his rent boys recognising him and selling the pics of their sessions to the Befast News of the World.

I am ex Norn Iron too. Fantastic. I don't understand why he looked so shell-shocked on the TV interview if he had known about it all since March. It's puzzling. Cant wait for Stephen Nolan on Radio 5 tonight.

Mrsdennis was thinking the same myself, and would you really go to work the next day if your partner had just tried to kill themselves, maybe, but in the clip shown on T V he was joking away, even if I had to go work I don't think I would look quite so happy

I was full of sympathy at first for Peter,before I found out the lover was only 19,I was incredulous,You couldnt make it up.The 19 year old is lovely,and I was intrigued by his remark that he looked back with thankfulness`.Did he genuinely love her?Personally I think it was a corrupting thing to do,the age gap is too wide.
Is that an ageist thing to say?I would feel the same if it was a 59 year old male and a
19 year old girl.

She was my local MP, I watched the spotlight programme alternating between and and again. But it's ok God has forgiven her, apparently.

The guy is very good looking though. The first time I ever went there was because my friend dragged me there after he flirted with her. Lovely little place for breakfast or coffee
