Can anyone identify this thing that came out of my DIL

The only operations my daughter in law has had are 4 c- sections the last was 20 months ago and since then she has had lower abdominal pain, yesterday she was getting shooting pains and my son pulled this from her, he says it's feels like plastic but could be metal. Does anyone have any idea on what it could be?

It would be most helpful if you can put it on a dark background and put a measure next to it so we can see the size.
It would help if you told us from whence it was pulled.
Then we might be able to help.
Could it be the remains of a belly-button piercing?

Surely you know the size of an average hand?

Well this would have been a completely normal thing to do in my family (except with more disagreements and a fierce competition to identify it first).
Maybe being self conscious/ashamed of parts of our body is weird

Nope, not normal at all. Sending photographs of genitalia to other family members is weird. Borderline depraved, in fact.

Seas164 · 19/09/2024 11:25

OP would you send a photo of your fanny to your DC and DIL if something was amiss and your OH had found something curious within?

Wilfrida1 · 19/09/2024 11:58

He probably dislodged her clit piercing ….

No as they can't even name the right body part, I would send it to my best friend who works admin in the ambulance service.

To clarify the timeliness
Jan 2023 c-section
Pains after that were to be expected
Feb 2024 shooting pains in lower abdomen that come and go
June 2024 abdominal scan and nothing noted
July 2024 internal scan nothing noted
Tuesday pain
Wednesday morning just starting to have sex and son gets scratched dil feels nothing, son has a look unsure of how far he looked as didn't ask and he finds plastic ufo.
Photo sent to me with little information apart from where it was found and photos.
Dil and other dil and dd met up all discussed said ufo
Both dil and son came round in afternoon, we discussed possibility of how why where and couldn't think of anything plausible.
Both dil's read this thread gave them a few laughs other dil said that if you think that is weird then you lot would die hearing her birth picture story (her family are also great)

And I suppose your son sent you a photo of his scratched knob as well to go with the fanny pics? 🙄

There is no way this thread is above board.

Cattery · 19/09/2024 12:49

Deeply odd. I’ve never in all my years come across anyone who would do any of this. Never.

DysonSphere · 19/09/2024 15:24

Took the thread at face value initially

But it's just become weird now.

I had a comment deleted for suggesting OP might be “enjoying” this a bit much. It’s strange because her other threads have been perfectly normal.

Thistooshallpass24 · 19/09/2024 18:06

@Wokeuptired any update on the UFO?

Maybe just hide the thread and go find something else to do instead of coming back to it repeatedly to comment on it?

Wokeuptired · 20/09/2024 18:34

Why would my son send me a photo of his penis???? And you lot think we are weird
Anyway am update it has definitely come out of dil cervix as she is now very tender and still no appointment but spoke to a pharmacist who said its probably a surgical staple that are designed to dissolve and like we have all suggested to try and get a GP appointment.
We are still giggling at the ufo comment as we tend to look at the humour in most situations

We’re not all blesséd enough to be born with a lucky dip for a fanny

People are so Squamish 😂

No idea what it is but if she is having shooting pains in her lower abdomen 20 months after her last surgery she needs to be seen by a doctor.

What have they got to say about it? 😂
