Page 8 | Can anyone identify this thing that came out of my DIL

The only operations my daughter in law has had are 4 c- sections the last was 20 months ago and since then she has had lower abdominal pain, yesterday she was getting shooting pains and my son pulled this from her, he says it's feels like plastic but could be metal. Does anyone have any idea on what it could be?

Does look like swarf, just because your ds doesn't metal work....it could be from screwing a fixing into something metal, from work done elsewhere.

Looks most likely to be from a hole being drilled in a metal sheet, or even just from a tin opener

Am I the only one wondering what he was doing when he found it?

I have suffered from abdominal pain but it’s never occurred to me to ask DH to have a root around to see if he can find any UFOs in my fanny.

Was he looking for something or did he find it by accident during marital activities?

How did he present the find? Hi Mum, just shagging the wife and this scratched me? Any ideas what it is?

Rarely has a thread left me with so many questions.

Please ask if her last pregnancy they put a 'clip' on babys head. It potentially looks like the metal part of a fetal scalp electrode. There was a dodgy batch about 2 years ago that got recalled for risk of breaking. I suspect unlikely as she probably didn't labour for her fourth caesarian but just in case!

Other dil is also here and she thinks that it might of come from the washing machine, but we have had quite a few giggles over this, we think her pains and this ufo might be unrelated and the ufo is plastic not metal and son felt it before he searched for it.
Other dil is very disappointed that I didn't post the more graphic photo.

So it was in folds of skin, rather than he pulled it out of her skin with tweezers?

To clarify it wasn't just me who received the other photo my other dil and my daughter also were sent it but all 3 were together yesterday, the photos was sent to their individual what's app and luckily not shared on the family chat, but then again my dad had a few trades in his life so he might of been useful in identifying it.

Well this would have been a completely normal thing to do in my family (except with more disagreements and a fierce competition to identify it first).
Maybe being self conscious/ashamed of parts of our body is weird

Jan 2023 c-section
Pains after that were to be expected
Feb 2024 shooting pains in lower abdomen that come and go
June 2024 abdominal scan and nothing noted
July 2024 internal scan nothing noted
Tuesday pain
Wednesday morning just starting to have sex and son gets scratched dil feels nothing, son has a look unsure of how far he looked as didn't ask and he finds plastic ufo.
Photo sent to me with little information apart from where it was found and photos.
Dil and other dil and dd met up all discussed said ufo
Both dil and son came round in afternoon, we discussed possibility of how why where and couldn't think of anything plausible.
Both dil's read this thread gave them a few laughs other dil said that if you think that is weird then you lot would die hearing her birth picture story (her family are also great)

If DS found it because he got scratched during sex then why did he need to send a pic of where he found it? Surely there’s only one place if he got scratched by it during sex? Anyway, I’m not sure you’ll ever find out what it is but I hope the pain goes away now the ufo is gone

No idea what it is but if she is having shooting pains in her lower abdomen 20 months after her last surgery she needs to be seen by a doctor.

They really are, it's weird

My sister thought she had a blackhead on her lower stomach and asked me to squeeze it, it turned out to be a long thread! About 8 inches. It just kept coming 😂 She'd always had pain there after some operations
