My favourite ever (and perhaps a little embarrassing) film, ever.........

Robin Hood. Prince of thieves.

I just love it.

My best ever present was when DH bought me the video. He put the DVD in my stocking at Christmas last. I may have cried a bit.
The Bryan Adams song makes me fill up every time.

I am ashamed that I have just written this and my favourite film isn't something intelligent and high brow but I am a bit post-nights-deletions and I have had wine.

Mary Poppins Blush I always wanted to live on Cherry Tree Lane.

And Scarface. I love Scarface!

Not embarrassing at all! I love Robin Hood. My favourite is Labyrinth so wouldn't be one to criticise anyway! Grin

Wobblebeans · 24/04/2017 19:29

Moulin rouge, DP looks at me like Hmm when I start singing along Blush

Pettywoman · 24/04/2017 19:29

RatherBeCrazy · 24/04/2017 19:30

Con air. Bloody brilliant. And xXx. Oh and Zorro.

RatherBeCrazy · 24/04/2017 19:31

As Good As It Gets.

magicstar1 · 24/04/2017 19:40

Yes to all of the above ... Especially xXx and Con Air. My absolute favourite though is Rio Bravo with John Wayne and Dean Martin. It's on my iPad and I watch it at least once or twice a week ...whenever I'm in the kitchen cooking it's on. I could act it out at this stage Blush

LoupGarou · 24/04/2017 19:44

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - the film version with Howard Keel and Jane Powell. I have seen it at various theatres so many times too though. 3 year old DS loves it too Blush Blush

GooodMythicalMorning · 24/04/2017 19:46

Twilight saga (I love them all!) All the films you've mentioned are brilliant though.

MyLittleBoyBlue · 24/04/2017 19:50

Guardians of the Galaxy. I think it's the soundtrack that does it. Not my usual cup of tea but I've seen it 5 times already. Chris Pratt is also jolly attractive, so that helps.

TomatoTomAto · 24/04/2017 19:52

A Star is Born. The Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson one.
I love it SO much. I even have the soundtrack on my ipod.

I also have a very unhealthy lust/crush on 1979 Kris. He was the most beautiful man!

PickleSarnie · 24/04/2017 19:53

Grease 2. I wanna cooo-oooh-ooool rider.

Cambergirl · 24/04/2017 19:54

Squadron 633. I can practically recite it. No idea why but I bloody love it.

And The Princess Bride.

WallisFrizz · 24/04/2017 19:57

I love Robin Hood, the Bodyguard, The goonies, the Lost boys, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy which are all classics but not highbrow.

I also love the Lake House and In Her Shoes which are neither classic or highbrow.

FancyPantsDelacroixTheFirst · 24/04/2017 19:59

Carve her name with pride. Not the film so much as how much I cry.

Ditto The Dambusters, Always, Memphis Belle and many more. I am frequently a wet mess.

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 24/04/2017 20:02

Labyrinth and The Neverending story. I've worn out so many copies.

FancyPantsDelacroixTheFirst · 24/04/2017 20:02

Oh yes, also the bit in Robin Hood where Little John's wife Fanny is up the burning tree; I could extinguish the flames with my tears.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 24/04/2017 20:05

Sister Act 2, Father of the Bride 2 & Cool Runnings

I could never ever choose between them!
