I didn’t see any posts where people made “sly digs at the peaceful protestors”. There were however posts which questioned how “peaceful” the marches really were and the motivations of those attending them. those points seem to have made you very uncomfortable.

See it's scary to me that you think Israel answers to nobody.

My reply to you was respectful, and I made it very clear that I am upset about the loss of life in Gaza. But don't make false accusations about my comments on this thread. Do I believe Hamas is less human and thus not deserving of moral consideration? Yes, I do. But I have never applied that statement to civilians living in Gaza.

When I watched the news on October 7th I was floored. Absolutely horrified. For what was happening and for what I knew was to come. What unfolded afterwards has changed me for ever more. This cannot go on and eventually we will all pay the price. If not us then our children.

These marches show no empathy and sympathy with civilians in Israel affected by the 7/10 attacks or publicly show support for the release of the hostages held captive in Gaza for the past 12 months. There is a whole board where you can chat to the half a dozen regular posters who say what you are saying.

This thread isn't for that and you are dishonouring the memory of those poor slaughtered people, hunted down and murdered while they were at a music festival

I didn't "attempt" to say anything, I said it.

This thread is about the slaughtered festival goers. Slaughtered by terrorists and a fair few of their "supporters"

It would be good if posters showed respect

And you do not talk for every person marching. The marches have been peaceful and respectful for the most part, particularly given the volume of people attending.

Now please, show some respect for those mentioned in this thread and I will continue to march respectfully for the dead Palestinians. If we could all show respect to each other, there would be no more dead. You choose to dehumanise the protesters by treating them as if they are all the same. I do not do that in return, nor would I. When you see someone as less than human, you lose your own humanity.

I pray that all the killings stop and there will be no more dead. I pray for all the victims, on both sides. I suspect (correct me if I'm wrong) you do not!

They sure do make me uncomfortable... because the crime stats are not there to support what you are saying, given the sheer number of people attending (and I'm talking worldwide) If there was illegal or hateful activity, take it to the police and get it sorted.
