Storyville BBC now Nova Music Festival

It's on now. Awful.

Imagine if it was Glastonbury or Reading festivals. Just dancing and having fun.

3500 people went to a festival to dance and celebrate peace and love.

400 never went home.

Hersh is there. Beautiful, young, vibrant peace loving people.

So pleased it’s being broadcast. May their memory be a blessing. I hope it will soften hearts and change minds.

The moment the sun rises. Its beautiful. Not my type of music but I can appreciate the love felt by all ....

Then.... fireworks? No its terrorists attacking... and chaos....rockets, crazy, everything upside down.

This quite "I'm used to missiles, I live near the border" so the missiles being fired isn't unusual

Then the horror that was Hamas and associated others.

I'll leave it here. We know the rest of the horrors to unfold 😥

Hamas filming themselves shouting 'Allah Akbar' and 'you'll see some miracles happen now' whilst shooting people has to be one of the sickest things I've seen.

No god worthy of the title would want them.

Not sure I can bear to watch but Im glad it is being shown. Hopefully it will remind people of the absolute depravity & horror experienced by young innocent people and the pain their loved ones will have to carry forever.

It's hellish. Fuck Hamas and every single person that excuses them.

It's horrible to watch. The terror the festival goers are showing contrasts with the terrorists joy. Its quite unbelievable really. I guess because hamas and associated others filmed it, together with the footage of victims there is no denying the awful reality.

It was very powerful . And terrifying.

It is a horrific watch, those poor young people...

Sadly, the type of person that excuses Hamas and sees only one side of this conflict will never challenge their world view by watching something like this.
Every one of those terrorists and those who planned this atrocity deserves to rot in Hell

This is always the problem, the people that need to engage almost certainly will turn away.

I confess I had to stop watching an hour in, so distressing. All those wonderful young people. I despair of the human race.

I think possibly that was one of the most distressing things I’ve ever seen on TV. The terror and horror those young people experienced. It’s beyond words.

I've just finished it. One of the most upsetting things I've ever watched.

What is happening now in the Israel, Gaza, Lebanon has me on my knees in grief and terror.

But it's not about me, all I can do is pray and send love and light.

It’s just unbelievable how anyone can find joy in suffering like that. It’s beyond comprehension

It was unbearable

It was horrific. But also a reminder how resilient and kind and good young people can be . They were just having fun … and suddenly the world changed and grew dark .

It was very moving, tragic.

The young girl in the wheelchair found dead in the arms of her father. At the beginning he was on film holding her in his arms and dancing.

I feel ashamed to write this but I just don’t think I can bear to watch it. So horrific.

I don't understand why all the European music festivals this summer didn't have some kind of memorial to what happened at Nova. Was it even mentioned at Glastonbury?
