@Superscientist thank you, DH was working away for ovulation this month anyway, so the best we could do was 3 days before. Fingers crossed we can time it better this month. Did you say you can’t test until Saturday? How are you feeling about waiting?
Oh that sounds awful with the acid reflux. My son was under a consultant at our local hospital until he was 5 months old (for other reasons), so I found it relatively easy to get a prescription for him. We only tried Gaviscon though and to be honest I only tried it a few times before I concluded that it didn’t help and gave up. Sounds crazy, but we had so much medical intervention with him from day one that I was desperate not to add to the tests and medication etc and just struggled on without, and eventually it did get better. Health wise he’s absolutely fine now, just doesn’t sleep well still!
@Blue2020 Friday is the evening we have family staying, so I think our best bet is Saturday, or failing that (if we are tired) then Sunday, which is O day. I try not to put the pressure on DH so I don’t actually tell him when I’m in my FW, and it all of a sudden it wanted to DTD 2 days in a row or even every other day he would know something was going on 😅
Just to comment on the getting lots of CM/BV stuff. Is it just around ovulation that you’re getting lots of CM? Or through your whole cycle? According to google you’re meant to get less days or EWCM as you get older, but I still get 4-5 days and I’m 35, so may just be normal for you too? With BV, you’d definitely want to get it treated while TTC/there’s a potential that you could be pregnant. It’s basically that your PH levels are off and so that may not be very sperm friendly. But also I had BV in my first trimester (it caused bleeding which was a horrible experience) and I had to take antibiotics to get rid of it. If left untreated in can be risky in pregnancy, just like any lower infection might be, like a UTI for example.
