I had a visible linea negra when my bump first came through then weirdly it disappeared!
It's come back very vaguely now but only below my belly button and is very subtle. I am ghostly pale though!

No stretch marks on my stomach but had some new ones on my hips... still keeping up with my moisturising though!

No line here either, stretch marks on my hips but not bump!

Also started to use perinium oil today, don't know how much good it will do but have been recommended it by so many people!

It's been a while. Sorry to hear some of you are having less than desirable aches and pains. I've had the odd bit of heartburn but not too bad, although I'm sure I'll get more as time goes on.

The past few days my hips have also been really bad, I sleep with a massive sausage pillow but it doesn't make any difference. Sleeping on my side seems to make it worse but I worry if I sleep on my back for too long. I did go swimming today and found it soothing as soon as I got into the water.

I'm off work this week and it's making me wonder how on earth I usually go to work every day, I've been so tired and having to nap by about 4pm, despite really not doing very much!

Legend I haven't got a linea nigra yet, I'm just over 26 weeks, I don't think everyone gets them. My belly button hasn't quite popped out yet either but think it's on it's way!

I'm currently just laying on the sofa watching my tummy move around with a very wriggly baby, im still fascinated every time I feel movement .

Anyway, I hope you all manage to get some sleep tonight and some relief from the aches and pains soon.

Every sympathy with the painful hips, mine are unbearable at night and pillows make no difference. Have you tried going to sleep propped up on your back? It means less pressure on your hips. I have tried falling asleep like this, I end up going on my side later but it has helped a little. I had my 28 week midwife appointment yesterday and she has referred me to physio, it may not help but it is worth a try! So if you are really suffering dont be afraid to speak up

Welcome @ThatGirl82! sore hips doesn't sound nice at all, have you tried any gentle stretching too? I've ordered a birthing ball which are supposed to be good. Sounds like some other ladies have had physio referrals which could be worth looking in to? Don't suffer in silence!

Has anyone else's bump seemingly shrunk recently? Mine measured bang on 28cm at my 28w appt last week but I think it's because baby has sunk lower... either that or I'm going mad. Not sleeping as well at the mo either, last night it was the thunder that woke me up, night before was the neighbours dog, then someone playing music.. which then means I wake up at 10am and I still have a nap at 2pm! Makes me feel so lazy!!

Also I saw on the Nov 2017 baby thread that they set up a googledoc where everyone can add in their details if they want (only the same deets that we'd share on here so nothing outing) and I thought it was a really cool idea!

I think I have changed the access now on the deets sheet so that anyone can view and edit it so you shouldn't have to request to add your details so have another go if you've tried.

Also if anyone can think of another good header/column to add then feel free!

GimbleInTheWabe Not only are we due date buddies but we also had similar thoughts! Id seen other threads had done this and often thought .. I'll start one of those when I get a quiet half an hour at work ... but it never really happened!

Slightly in awe of how far you all are on birth plans - I have only the vaguest of ideas of what I want [I'm sure there's a second-time - or more - mum somewhere laughing at my use of the word "want" when talking about child birth], though I suppose I have the excuse that it's still mainly about avoiding the C-section.

Hello Beautiful Mummies I was just wondering how all our October babies were getting on. Has anyone started weaning yet? Any talky babies, rolly over babies etc?

My DS born 11 Oct is almost crawling lots of babbling away to himself (which I love!) and two tiny teeth on the bottom. We started weaning 2 weeks ago now, just fruit and veg atm. Doing a mix of BLW and purees (I usually just steam and then purée what I'm offering him whole) and he loves it! He had celery today for the first time and loved that weirdly, I didn't think he'd like such a peppery taste. Still BFing on demand and not getting a load of sleep sadly. Naps are all only 40 mins but are finally on the bed and not in my arms anymore thank god! The time has flown by but it's all so much easier now. Much less googling of innocuous things!

Sounding very similar to our life although his teeth are refusing to make an appearance and prefer to just causing him lots of trouble with out the end result

I started weaning yesterday, as he's not 6month till the end of this month I'm just sticking to baby rice, which he couldn't get enough of yesterday.

He too is so much more settled now and content sleeping in his chair through the day and cot at night, which I never thought would happen as we spent the first 16weeks with him in our arms. I think its a result of the colic finally sodding off.

He's babbling away to attempting to say Mama and Hiya, but still not sure if they are actual words or if I'm just literally putting words into his mouth
