It's sneeze birth's galore thanks to our fanny stretchers! We're soaking in piss and praying for Bat's hospital bag. We're avoiding our mens 'Annie Sloaners' and eating all the cake! It's JS Gras 39!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Was just coming to say that I'd spoken to Lil, but I see just beat me to it. Grin

pretzelpieces · 15/10/2015 20:23

Aww sorry pud hope you can get hold of some chocolate soon. I resorted to a chocolate pop tart the other day when there was no real chocolate in the house. It wasn't the same.

oneyorkshirepud · 15/10/2015 20:50

Still no chocolate! Have gone to bed in protest! Smile

What do we think to hot water bottles for back ache? I figure that it us far enough away not to cook the baby?!

MollyBloomYes · 15/10/2015 21:09

Excellent news about Lil, very relieved!

One of the boy names we were considering has been proffered by a relative as a take the piss 'of course you'd NEVER choose this name' joke. Bums. I'm at the point where I couldn't give a shiny shit what people think, they'll get to know the kid and love them and love their name because it's them but DH is having a wobble. So close and yet so far!

fruitlovingmonkey · 15/10/2015 21:33

Oh don't worry Molly, they will come around. The only boy's name we like is very "out there" and will surely invite some rude comments. I'm actually disappointed our two favourite girls' names aren't controversial!

jellypi3 · 15/10/2015 21:36

Tell your DH to ignore them molly when bubba is here nobody will remember that conversation.

Glad lil is OK she must be wondering why so many of us have contacted her today haha. Bless her.

I'm shattered today, just been shopping and now about to get in bath. Hot baths are probably my number 1 thing I've missed this pregnancy.

gaggiagirl · 15/10/2015 21:51

pud I swore by hottle bottles during pregnancy. Go for it! My pink bottle made me feel very soothed.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/10/2015 22:19

Thanks to the viroids who checked on Lil

I'm so excited for bat! Puuuuush!

honeysucklejasmine · 15/10/2015 22:42

jellypi3 · 15/10/2015 22:45

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/10/2015 23:09

Oooooh new Fred soon!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/10/2015 07:59

Who's doing new Fred!

Bat I hope you are cuddling a little batlet now xx

CarrotPuff · 16/10/2015 08:04

Looks like eviction notice in form of pending induction is all that batlet needed.

I'm 20 weeks today - half way through! Yay! I'm also coming down with a cold, boo.

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/10/2015 08:17

Congratulations Carrot, that's a nice milestone.
Viroids, how much water should I drink before my scan/ how long should I avoid peeing for? I want to give them a good view but I also don't want to pee myself!

jellypi3 · 16/10/2015 08:25

I think they suggest a litre fruit. But it should say on your letter :)

I also hope bat has her ickle one with her now. :)

Yay for 20 weeks carrot you will be counting down from now haha.

I'm going to a nearly new sale tomorrow, not sure what to expect. Don't really want to buy loads but want to check it out lol.

I can't do new Fred today sorry!

So I did a baby!! At 5.15 am a 7lb 14oz baby boy was chopped out of me. Went to hospital last night at 4cm dilated, 10 hours later was only 5cm! Obviously wanted to jump out of the window at this point and then to top it all off my lovely epidural fell out or something so I went from being all cosy to being back in absolute agony - but then they decided to do c section due to non progression, back to back baby and his heart rate kept dipping. He gave us a little scare when he first came out as needed a few minutes of resuscitation - longest few minutes of my life waiting for him to cry. But all perfect now! Just waiting for spinal ton wear off so I can move - have morphine for the tummy pain which is quite lovely. Thanks for all of your encouragement over the last couple of weeks Smile

jellypi3 · 16/10/2015 08:29

Yayyyyyyyyyyy you did a baby!! Congrats to you and Mr Bat and welcome little Batlet to the world :) so glad he was OK!

OP posts:
MollyBloomYes · 16/10/2015 08:29

fruit it seems to vary trust to trust but I think it's a pint an hour before? But then with DS (different trust) I was told not to drink excessively or hold bladder! Think it depends on how new their equipment is? If you've not been given special instructions maybe drink a bit then be prepared to have to wee during scan!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/10/2015 08:31

Oh congratulations bat!
Wonderful news!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/10/2015 08:36

fruit does it not say on the letter? And is it your first or second scan?

My 12 week scan said dint worry about it, but the letter for the 20 weeker says don't piddle for an hour before.

two ladies from my MN antenatal group with DS have had sections this week too (both elective)!

I hope you're ok too bat that sounds rather exhausting, remember to just keep taking the drugs and the lactulose if they give it to you.

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/10/2015 08:50

Congratulations Bat! So happy for you and glad little Batlet is doing well. Hope you manage to get some rest and recover from the labour.
My letter says "come with a full bladder", useful! I downed about a pint of water and now I have 40 minutes until my appointment so hopefully that will work. Thanks for the tips.

FeatheredTail · 16/10/2015 09:52

The nightmares are catching - had a horrible one I was miscarrying Sad

pretzelpieces · 16/10/2015 10:22

Well done bat! Have also congratulated you over on fb!

pretzelpieces · 16/10/2015 10:23

Aw feathered Flowers dreams can be so upsetting even though we know they mean nothing.

MollyBloomYes · 16/10/2015 10:38

Oh bat cross post congratulations! My epidural fell out when I was recovering from a lung operation, not nice!

Oh feathered, not nice Flowers. They can really stay with you those sort of dreams can't they?
