Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oh goodness pretzel it must have been a shock spilling water over yourself in the night! Congrats on 24 weeks Grin

FeatheredTail · 14/10/2015 11:31

I also get worried Lil - my boobs don't hurt at all really, a little bit heavier feeling and a little bit bigger, but not massively so. Best just to breathe and try not to overly focus on symptoms if you can. No hooyah from me.

FeatheredTail · 14/10/2015 11:32

Hurrah for good scan Fruit

Laughing at 97 weeks pregnant Bat!

jellypi3 · 14/10/2015 12:11

Yay for good scan fruit!

pret also yay for 24 weeks. It's a weight off the mind isn't it! And then the weight relocates to your belly!! Wink

niff I can't believe you are almost there! Good luck, so exciting the next stage of your journey. You better have WiFi where you go to keep in touch with us!

Hurray for lovely scan news!

Bat, I'd have bit of a Netflix or similar marathon. Maybe a nice coffee and magazine. Big nap. Listen to podcasts. looks wistfully at DS who hasn't stopped tantruming all morning

batfish · 14/10/2015 12:27

I've had a one born every minute marathon Shock And just booked bikini wax for later today seeing as the one I had in preparation about 4 weeks ago has grown back by now!!

CarrotPuff · 14/10/2015 12:55

Just had my scan. All looking good but little bugger had its head tucked in deep in my pelvis so they couldn't check skull/brain/face. Have to come back in 2 weeks. I guess I'll just tell work by then. Also got posterior placenta this time as I suspected!

batfish · 14/10/2015 13:00

Ah glad all is good carrot - shame they couldn't get a good look but at least it means a bonus scan!

honeysucklejasmine · 14/10/2015 14:52

Great scan news everyone! Yay Carrot, you can join the "delinquent baby" crew! Grin

batfish · 14/10/2015 15:03

Oh God viroids I've had a waxing incident. Booked a Brazilian....and whilst she was doing it was thinking hmm that doesn't quite feel right....I'm completely bald!! I know some people like that look but I tried it once and felt like a child/plucked chicken so wasn't keen to ever repeat it - now I've got to show it off to half of Dubai when I go into hospital tomorrow night! I really don't know what went wrong but oh noooo!

FeatheredTail · 14/10/2015 15:21

Haaaahaa Bat! Well, at least they'll be able to have a good view of what's going on Wink Also assume it's the norm in most middle eastern countries too.

Funny that happened to you - a really good friend has lived in Dubai for years now and the first time I went to visit her (and had a wax once I arrived) the wax lady took everything off - and really did shy away from the hard to reach places. Blush

Unless you have a fanny wig stash, you're going to have to embrace your new look! Hehehee.

FeatheredTail · 14/10/2015 15:22
  • didn't
batfish · 14/10/2015 15:32

feathered yep that sounds about right - they are really not shy! Think she has seen more of me than my gynae doc has! It's horrible but they don't bat an eyelid. But true that it is quite normal here so hopefully I won't feel too much of a tit in the hospital....mr bat is going to find it hysterical however!

honeysucklejasmine · 14/10/2015 15:50

Lol Bat! Oh dear. Still, at least they'll have a clear view!

jellypi3 · 14/10/2015 15:52

i must be weird i've never had a wax "down below". i tend to just trim and shave/use the cream to keep it in check, i don't think i could get my curly wurly's out in front of a stranger...

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 14/10/2015 16:26

I trim too Jelly. My skin is v delicate, I dread to think the damage wax would do. Tmi... I get cysts down there too. Have one which has been gently weeping for a few days now. V annoying as can't really see it past bump so hard to deal with. Can't use plasters or adhesive dressings so have to just deal with it.

pretzelpieces · 14/10/2015 16:38

Glad it was good scan news carrot and that you get to see baby carrot again in a couple of weeks!

bat! GrinGrinGrin no comments, just laughter.

Social worker didn't turn up but midwife went fine. Bump measures 26cm at 24 weeks so in theory 2cm over but seems very inexact as someone else said so I'm happy with that. Heard the heartbeat. She threw away my wee instead of sending it to the hospital again so I'm going back in two weeks.

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/10/2015 16:42

Thanks all. Good news Carrot, I guess all of the viroid babies are hiding themselves today. I'm looking at you too Batlet!
Hehe Bat don't worry, I'm sure they've seen every kind of hairstyle you can imagine, what with looking at foofs all day. Now I'm intrigued about Middle Eastern ladies and the shiny bare foof? Is this a thing? I feel so ignorant!

oneyorkshirepud · 14/10/2015 16:56

Ha ha ha Bat that is brilliant. I believe you can buy foof wigs known as 'murkins'. Why they exist I do not know. Or just get a bit of furry material and stick it on?! Grin You know that Batlet has just been waiting for this right?!

Yey for good scans with naughty babies!

JC the upright pillow formation with dream geni under legs/bum is how I got an extra half an hour of sleep from 5.30 this morning. I had tried everything else up until that point, including sleeping on my front!

Niff I'm so excited about your big move! Bet you can't wait to see your DH!

Literally cannot stop eating chocolate. My non-mat pjs are getting rather snug around the arse area... Luckily we are making pjs soon in my sewing class. Looking forward to having pjs that fit. NOT looking forward to measuring oneself! Not sure the tape measure will go all the way around

Pretz, good news on 24 weeks and we'll done for being calm about measuring over. My mw said anything within 3cm of your number of weeks is fine.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/10/2015 17:02

Happy scans are always good news, I hope mine is in a fortnight. Congrats carrot, hope babe is a little more helpful next time!

We had a lovely afternoon, we had crab for lunch and an ice cream on the slipway. Surrounded by lots of middle aged folks taking pictures of Doc Martin houses I presume, I've never seen it.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/10/2015 17:03

Oh an bat you've just added another reason to my never-getting-a-wax list!

jellypi3 · 14/10/2015 17:11

I wasn't measured at 24 weeks #missingout

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/10/2015 17:13

bat I swear I didn't just laugh out loud and then had OH question why... Grin

honey we are far too similar! I get them too. Currently have a large and painful one brewing under the skin. Fab. I remember being really worried about having a nasty one when I was in labour last time but it cleared a couple of days before luckily!

CarrotPuff · 14/10/2015 17:37

Haha Bat don't worry, Drs have seen it all, and once the baby is coming out your vagina the last thing you'll think about is whether you have any hair down there!

Congrats on good scan news fruit, how come you're having 2 so close together?

Yay for seeing DP soon Niff!

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/10/2015 17:55

I'm not in the UK so I see my gynaecologist for all of my check ups and she does a little scan each time to have a look at the baby. I have to go to the hospital for the nuchal translucency scan. I think my doc arranges an appointment with her just before the 12 week scan in case it is bad news so that I would find out with her and not with a stranger.
Sounds wonderful Thursday that area is gorgeous.
