Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Good luck Thursday!

jellypi3 · 20/09/2015 07:59

Morning viroids. Good luck thursday crazy woman

I'm going to watch my football team play their first game of the season today. It'll be hard not to join in!

Just weighed myself and I've put on 6kg (almost a stone) since getting pg!! That's loads isn't it? I had a high-ish bmi before getting pg.

honeysucklejasmine · 20/09/2015 09:04

According to my app it should be about 4.5kg to 20 weeks, then 0.5kg a week!

My skinny friends tell me they gain between 2 and three stone in total.

jellypi3 · 20/09/2015 09:33

Oh well I don't care overly because I'm going to join slimming world again when baby is here, maybe I'll just eat less cake like fuck

oneyorkshirepud · 20/09/2015 09:35

Jelly I have found that I seem to put on a fair bit and then plateau for a few weeks. I gained a lot over the summer (may have had something to do with the holidays) but haven't gained any for 3 weeks. I have been eating plenty but I have been making more of an effort to eat healthily after I put on 5lb in 2 weeks

oneyorkshirepud · 20/09/2015 09:38

X post there Jelly
Calculator.net has a weight gain calculator thing that I am using as a guide, but I also think my body will do what is wants/needs!

gaggiagirl · 20/09/2015 10:00

carrot much gummy sympathy! My gums throb all the time and spontaneously bleed. Teeth brushing is truly horrific.
jelly I've gained one million stone this pregnancy. I'm not scared it'll come off breast feeding and shredding once baby is out. I'm fairly convinced the baby is 2.5 stone anyway. I'm all baby. I'll keep telling myself that Grin

batfish · 20/09/2015 10:33

I've gained just over 2 stone and amazed it's not more as I totally expected to do a Jessica Simpson and end up about 4 times my previous size. I still look pretty fat but not quite as bad as I expected to.

Glad to be finishing work this week - last week I was thinking ooh maybe I could work a bit longer - but today baby feels like it is trying to burst out of my stomach and I can't get too close to my desk due to bump but also can't lean forward because I have baby body parts in places that are stopping me doing so! Bit annoying really - roll on Wednesday where I'll be mostly lying around like a beached whale in my huge pillow nest I've constructed on the sofa.

jellypi3 · 20/09/2015 10:40

Wow not long bat!! Exciting :)

ga you look great in your pics! I'm not too fussed because as you say hopefully I'll lose the weight when baby is here. I did just have a bacon sandwich for breakfast so hardly doing myself any favours lol

Jcandy · 20/09/2015 11:56

Jelly what was your bmi before as you really don't look overweight on your photos! Weighed myself this morning and I've put on 19 pounds in total so far. Pleased with this after all the cake and chocolate eating. Do seem to be putting on about 2 pounds a week at the moment but just like pud it slows then increases again.

28 weeks today! 3rd trimester woop!!

jellypi3 · 20/09/2015 12:00

Yay for 3rd tri jc :) it's flying by for you ladies! My bmi was 29 before getting pg so quite bad, but I was losing weight. As I say I'm not that fussed, I do feel like I'm retaining a lot of water!

I'm really feeling more movements now it's great. It feels like a thumping pulse or thud in my lower abdomen :) I even felt a couple from the outside!

CarrotPuff · 20/09/2015 12:08

Jelly there's not much you can do when pg. A lot of people put on in bursts, and then slow down. You can worry about it once the jelly bean is born.

Yay for mat leave bat, hopefully next couple days fly by!

Yay for third tri JC!

I'm making banana bread. But I'm using Paul Hollywood's recipe, which says cream bananas with sugar first, and then add butter Hmm It's baking now, so we shall see... didn't look very convincing though!

MollyBloomYes · 20/09/2015 12:16

jelly I've also put on 6 kilos. But still fit in pre pregnancy jeans and loads of people have said how much I've lost off face. Clearly just have an enormous placenta! I had a bmi of 30 before pregnancy but to be honest I don't see much store by it, even when I was a size 8 (and looking very unhealthy and gaunt on it) I was still 11 stone! To be an ideal weight for my height I'd have to be 10. Miss my flat stomach but I'll do something about it if I find I care enough once I'm out of newborn haze! Just need to find a non caffeine energy boost if I have another non sleeper as it was mainlining sugar to keep me awake during first 6 months that did the most damage

5hell · 20/09/2015 12:19

Hope you enjoyed your half thurs !!!...lovely day for it.

Mr5hell successfully completed his first tri in 1h34 so he's v pleased and rightly so. On our way home now, then off to local food festival Which will help with weight gain!

Well done Mr5hell

Well I did it viroids, in 2.30hrs which I'm fricking delighted with. And now I can go back to running for fun yippee!

Hope you're all ok, I'm cream crackered so will catch up properly later!

oneyorkshirepud · 20/09/2015 14:03

That's amazing Thursday!! Now stop running and just eat cake like the rest of us! Wink

TriJo · 20/09/2015 14:33

Well done Thursday :)

FeatheredTail · 20/09/2015 15:02

Thanks for the reassurance viroids - if there's a possibility of resistance to toxo then I should be immune from my exposure to basically being snogged by all my old pets.

MollyBloomYes · 20/09/2015 15:21

Wowzers feathered I can't even manage the hill up to my house!

Maternity jeans and pink lining rucksack won for bargainous prices on eBay. Boom. Sunday win! Always been adamant I hated pink lining bags but this one has cute bikes and loads of room for two under two apparently. And no mention of yummy mummy except the change mat, I can deal with that! And most importantly... cheap.

batfish · 20/09/2015 15:26

Wow Thursday that's quite amazing well done!

pretzelpieces · 20/09/2015 15:47

Sofa nest sounds awesome bat

jc congrats on 3rd tri!

Well done Thursday

I've just reached my pre-anorexia weight and that's a bit of a headfuck to be honest. Brain is misbehaving about the numbers. Shush, brain. hooyahs self

20 week scan tomorrow at 20+5. Bit disappointed because my mum is poorly and can't come so she's sending my sister instead. (Difficult relationship bollocks etc etc.) Anyway at least I don't have to worry about my dad being a grumpy sod cause he won't be there. Nervous!
