Whilst the rest of us chowed down on runny eggs and shellfish, deeply sneezed out a baby!...It's superb scans all around and only the occasional nose-vom on JS Grads 38!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

5hell that is fantastic news about your scan, what a relief!

Bat I am proud of you for packing your hospital bag!

27 weeks today, officially 3rd trimester Eep! If the baby arrives as instructed because that works there is only 11 weeks to go. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Got a whole bag of baby stuff from Before on the grad grads, the clothes are so small and adorable, squeeee.

FeatheredTail · 19/09/2015 10:42

Popping in to say hurray to 5hell! Such fantastic news!! Big hugs and congrats. That pic has given hope to a frightened viroid.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/09/2015 11:06

Well I handled DPs departure slightly worse than expected. I cried and sobbed and snorted and gasped and choked on my tears for like an hour and he finally just left without me saying a word to him. I feel absolutely devastated.

jellypi3 · 19/09/2015 11:41

Oh no sky are you ok?

Yay for 3rd tri pud still convinced you only got your bfp last week

honeysucklejasmine · 19/09/2015 12:04

Sky how long is he going for?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/09/2015 12:50

He's just gone for the afternoon. There's several reasons I am so upset over it but the hormones have just dialled it all up

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/09/2015 12:51

DD is coming here me from her dads so will have to pull myself together and have some lunch.

pretzelpieces · 19/09/2015 15:15

Sorry you're upset sky Flowers

Does anyone else find pelvic floor exercises bloody boring? I've got the squeezy app (from the NHS, it's a paid one but I'd recommend it, it's good) and I hardly ever manage three sets in a day because it's so so so dull. I don't mind the quick squeezes so much but the slow ones seem to take forever (though in reality the whole lot probably takes less than 5 mins!). Anyway. Sorry for my boring rant about boring PF exercises!

pretzelpieces · 19/09/2015 15:17

Plus I know it's worth it if it stops me pissing myself, it's just getting myself to do the damn things.

batfish · 19/09/2015 15:33

Aww sky hope you're OK Cake

pretzel that's the reason I haven't actually done any pelvic floors, something which I am sure I will regret for the rest of my incontinent life!! I find them boring and they make me feel a bit funny.

batfish · 19/09/2015 15:38

Oh and can anyone tell me why I'm not nesting?? I'm basically the laziest beast in the whole world letting mr bat fetch and carry - I want to want to cook and clean and all that stuff - but I just don't!

honeysucklejasmine · 19/09/2015 16:56

Lol Bat I am the same, all the time! Would love asparkling home a La Ga, but I can't be fucked.

FeatheredTail · 19/09/2015 16:59

Hello viroids temporary de-lurk I am absolutely beside myself with worry and don't know whether I should be or what to do. I just went over to my mums and went out to play with her lovely lovely cat who ADORES me. I always give him a kiss and snuggle but he was so excited to see me he jumped up at my face and kissed me on the mouth with loads of dribble that WENT IN MY MOUTH. I usually wouldn't care (well, I would be grossed out but not worried) but I hadn't been thinking and now I'm really really paranoid that he has passed on toxoplasmosis to me.

I washed out my mouth with soap ASAP but still concerned.

I am a MASSIVE animal lover and always give him (and most other dogs and cats I meet) little kisses. I feel like an idiot. Has this happened to anyone else with their fur babies?

jellypi3 · 19/09/2015 17:24

As far as I am aware toxo can only pass in animal poo. Obviously cats cleans their bums with with tongues but I think you would have to be really really unlucky to get toxo from being licked. Try not to worry.

My two are crawling with fleas it's horrible. Ive treated them and half the house but still gross.

gaggiagirl · 19/09/2015 19:07

honey new house is only 3/4 sparkling. My utility room is filthy beyond all reason. The kitchen I cant even look at. The recurring dust is amazing. I'm wasting my bleachy rags on this place I tells ya.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/09/2015 19:09

filthy beyond all reason sums the viroids up quite well!

Rugby was fucking impressive today.

5hell · 19/09/2015 19:43

Rugby was awesome...half the world became japan fans this afternoon!!

feathered glad my scan news gave u hope. To be honest i went in thinking 50/50 at best, still can't believe it :)
I'm sure that a bit of cat slavver will be fine...they dont say avoid cats, just cat shit. Hope you're feeling ok.

Staying the night in a classy travelodge as dh has an early morning triathlon (his first!)

Good luck Mr 5hell :)

I'm enjoying all this rugby. Nothing like a sports event to whittle away the weekend.

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/09/2015 20:54

Good luck Mr5hell!

I'm running a half marathon tomorrow eeeeeeeeeeeee

CarrotPuff · 19/09/2015 21:18

Oh Sky, I hope you had a better afternoon. Here's some Cake

Good luck with half marathon Thursday! I don't know how you are doing it. I'm so so so tired it's ridiculous. It got better for a few days and now it's really bad again. I've read baby is having a growth spurt around now so I hope it will get better once it's over and all the sugar cravings.

Feathered you'll be fine. You never know, you might be immune to toxo if you have or had pets. If you are really worried, there's a blood test you can do privately.

Rugby was amazing. I'm in awe of Japanese team as probably everyone else (maybe not South African fans though).

I suspect what I thought were itchy gums is actually a toothache. I was convinced I could actually see a hole but just looked again and it looks more like just a stain. Thing is, the tooth itself doesn't actually hurt, it's the gums inbetween two teeth. Kind of itchy feeling, and a bit of pressure as if someting is stuck between them. I know I just need to see a dentist (which I will do asap), but anyone had this? My gums have been flaring up so much in this pregnancy Sad

I think I'll just go to bed now...

oneyorkshirepud · 19/09/2015 22:41

Feathered I understand why you are worried but honestly I think you will be fine. We've always had cats and have nursed poorly cats, have eaten a lot of rare steak etc and I've never had toxo according to my bloods so it can't be too easy to catch. How many weeks are you now? You can request toxo screening at your 12 week bloods. Also my mw said that if you do get it you will feel ill. So if you feel okay in a couple of days that should reassure you.

Thursday, beyond impressed by your running. Had to stop for a rest half way up a hill today. I was walking. Slowly. It was a big f off hill though! not that big

NCT nearly new sale tomorrow, Eep!

oneyorkshirepud · 19/09/2015 22:43

P.s. Carrot, sympathies for the tiredness, it sucks. Mine did get better though at about 20 weeks. Hopefully yours will be better sooner than that!

ThursdayLastWeek · 20/09/2015 06:46

Morning all, I'm awake and v nervous!

I hope everyone's got a happy Sunday planned?

honeysucklejasmine · 20/09/2015 06:56

Morning!

Good luck to the crazy people runners this morning, have a great time!

A friend is coming down from Midlands today so we're going to have a catch up.

And obviously I am going to watch the rugby. Come on, Wales!
