Whilst the rest of us chowed down on runny eggs and shellfish, deeply sneezed out a baby!...It's superb scans all around and only the occasional nose-vom on JS Grads 38!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

And I forgot the most important bit...purple great news that you have your section date woohoo!!! 8th September sounds like a lovely day for a birthday Grin

jellypi3 · 04/09/2015 08:37

Ah that makes sense looking thanks :) feel slightly ignorant here haha.

thurs my grandparents live with me so they will be there all day. I still think waiting till baby is 6 months is best but yeah they will take care of the dog mostly I guess!

Question re movement, mine are still relatively sporadic but when do you start feeling them from the outside?

purplewhale · 04/09/2015 08:40

That's the plan Thursday

Jelly I'd love one but they are so tying. I'll be going back to work and DH works long days so we can't do it. Wish we could though

purplewhale · 04/09/2015 08:41

Jelly it was about 28 weeks from outside

LaLaLaaaa · 04/09/2015 08:48

So t so it jelly! Soooo much work having puppy and you have hands full with baby. When you Have a night like I've just done of hourly feeds the idea that i would then have to look after a puppy would be nightmare. Wait a year or two.

Lookingforadvice123 · 04/09/2015 08:53

jelly DH felt his first outside movement when I was about 19 weeks, but only because I happened to be lying in bed and said quick feel it move. They were still really sporadic at that stage he was lucky to feel one! I feel them on the outside all the time now (22+6) but tbh if they're still sporadic, enjoy it while you can before the stressing starts! The first few weeks I felt them they were so soft and sporadic that I just enjoyed feeling them when I did but didn't worry! I saw my GP last week (about my infected foot) and asked him about movements, his wife was the same as me (21 weeks at the time) and she hadn't felt anything at all yet. So everyone really is different, I worry because I've felt a lot of movements up til now, whereas if I hadn't I wouldn't, if you see what I mean!

A tip for pud and jc though if the cold drink trick doesn't work (it doesn't always for me) - I've always had success when I play some music on my phone loudly (preferably something bassy eg Barry White!) and put my phone on the bump. He kicks and you can see the phone move!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/09/2015 08:54

jelly people could feel DD moving through my bump between 20-24 weeks.

jellypi3 · 04/09/2015 09:10

wow it really vary's for movements then eh! i'm not stressing about movement yet as im only 19 weeks but DP wants to feel them so bad bless him!

la very true. I'm actually not fussed about it but as I say it's the other household members! I said we have enough on our hands with two fat cats lol!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/09/2015 09:25

God my post wasn't even English. So tired

Jcandy · 04/09/2015 09:28

Seeing the midwife at 12. Had only one kick this morning and that's when I prodded my bump. Can't make it do it again. Got myself in a right state

TriJo · 04/09/2015 09:32

Similar here Sky re maternity clothes - I bought some long, loose tops and a pair of maternity jeans this week, and ended up breaking out the maternity jeans yesterday after I realised my last pair of fat jeans would fit my little bump but were way too loose on my legs. 11+3 here now.

Managed to resist a HUGE craving for a Maccy D's breakfast today too. /pings halo

jellypi3 · 04/09/2015 09:37

jc let us know how you get on. That's going to be an agonising few hours, try to distract yourself.

la i think I got the jist of it Wink. Hope little B is well!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/09/2015 09:38

TriJo I'm 11 + 2 based on measurements! Very nerdily excited by the prospect of another person at same stage! Brew

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/09/2015 09:41

Just checked stats and tattoo we are the same! My dates have been adjusted by scan measurements. Although, it is just a big baby as had no DP with me until 4 July when I returned from US... Does that matter?

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/09/2015 09:44

gawd, why bother resisting Tri Wink

I'll be thinking if you JC

pretzelpieces · 04/09/2015 09:47

Pillow saga had a happy ending as I got up to go for a wizz and I got back to bed to find it on my side. He must've woken up and realised he still had it! Wasn't very comfy though. Like wrestling a giant pretzel.

Off on holiday today with my parents. DP was meant to be coming too but ended up getting his new job so I'm going without him! So I'm not that nice to him! Grin

Movements stuff sounds stressful. I'm convinced something is wrong because I haven't felt much and I'm only 18+2. I KNOW that's too early to worry hooyas self

Purple, I can't believe you're doing a baby on Tuesday!! Pom poms at the ready!

SecondCupOfTea · 04/09/2015 10:06

Firstly, gx JC Flowers

Secondly, sorry for my slovenly approach to posting an update, but after only having two hours sleep on Wednesday night, I needed a long afternoon nap, then I spent the evening tutting at the cricket.

My scan went well, although it seems we have either a sleepy child (takes after DP) or a moody one (takes after me). Baby was obviously being uber optimistic, and was lying in the birthing position - head down, facing my back. It was so low down in my pelvis that the sonographer couldn't get a proper view of the head. So, after a thankful run to the loo, I ended up having an internal scan.

We got great views, although whilst the sonographer was cooing, "And there's a hand, and there's an arm, and there's the bladder...", I was thinking, "There's a blob, there's a longer blob, there's a black blob...". We did see the cross section of the brain, and a freaky alien-esque view of the eyes (I believe viewed from the back of the head). Also saw one mahoosive foot, which appeared larger than the head and I'm putting down to an odd perspective (DP is putting it down the the baby taking after me!).

I also gained my day back that day I lost, so am 12+6 again now. Baby seems to have all the right bits, had HR of 164, wiggled legs like crazy, but...and this was the problem...flatly refused even a sideways glance at the camera. Regardless of any amount of coughing, prodding and poking my belly (and, rather alarmingly to me) having the dildo cam wiggled rapidly inside me Shock all we got was a view of the back of the head.

So, I was unable to have the combined screening, and am going back in 12 days to have the quadruple blood test instead. She did say that she was happy with what she could see that there was no thickening of the neck, but she couldn't get an accurate measurement for the test.

Also found out that my placenta is attached at the back and so the flutterings I've been feeling for the last week is the baby moving (which of course it did for ages as soon as we left the hospital).

I'll post up a pick of stroppy baby refusing to look at camera in a mo.

Oh, and I guess now I should join the FB group...who can I PM?

SecondCupOfTea · 04/09/2015 10:09

Here (s)he is...turned away from the camera in an apparent strop!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/09/2015 10:16

Congrats tea!

gaggiagirl · 04/09/2015 10:17

jc keep us updated! Lots of luck.
Can someone amend the stats sheet since deeply popped?
jelly we are dog people as you know. DP trains gun dogs and he genuinely wouldn't have any new puppy with a potentially crawling baby. Not worth the risk. Tell your family no! Our two boys will be staying with the in laws when we move and DP will continue to work them. We couldn't have new baby with old grumpy lurcher nor with young bouncy Labrador. No matter how well trained they are they are still animals at the end of the day. I wont miss the dog hair one bit Grin

gaggiagirl · 04/09/2015 10:19

Hi baby cuppa tea! Awwww lovely congratulations!

pretzelpieces · 04/09/2015 10:21

Aw tea bless your naughty baby! Glad all is well.

GX for you jc, I'm sure everything will be okay Flowers

SecondCupOfTea · 04/09/2015 10:34

I've lopped deeply off the stats list....so there we all go up one place Shock

gaggiagirl · 04/09/2015 10:48

Good job tea I believe im 4th now. So exciting!!!!!!! Were moving into the building site in 12 days!

jellypi3 · 04/09/2015 10:48
