Sorry to be so morbid. I am just interested to know how old people were when their Mum died and how they handled the situation?

Parents were 75 and I was 51. They both died within 4 months of each other 2 years ago. One was heart failure and the other found out they were dying of pancreatic cancer the day the other died! I’m having a relapse of grief as going through a stressful time!

  1. My mum died last week. She had MS for 45 years. Horrific. My mum lost her voice at the end so I recommend making audio recordings of stories - we don’t have enough recordings of her voice.

I'm so sorry for your recent loss. I hope you are doing ok Flowers

20, and 30 when my dad died.

I was 60. I’m so blessed to have had her and my dad till I was 60 (dad died 4 months before Mum)

I miss her every second of the day 😓

I was 14.

I was 20. On my next birthday I will be as old as she was when she died which is a strange feeling. I lost my Dad when I was 13. I coped because I had to. I think I am a strong person because of it.

I was 39. She had cancer when I was in my mid-twenties then it came back years later.

She was the only nice relative I had, and her death devastated me. Things are much better these days, but death rewrote my address book.
