2nd stillbirth in 6 months. In shock.

Had stillbirth at end of november - at 25 weeks. Got pregnant again 2 months later and went for 16 week scan this morning to be told this baby has died too. Am in shock but devestated - seems so unfair to happen twice in a row.

That's it really - just wanted to tell someone. I have to give birth on Wednesday.

I have felt like such a lucky person all my life and at the moment am feeling bloody unlucky and don't quite know what to make of it.

whereas in november I always knew i'd have another baby, this time I just don't know if I could go through pregnancy again. Am feeling pretty grim about the whole thing to be honest.

DHW I am so sorry that you are going through this. I read your threads about your first loss and you are such a strong, lovely lady. It is utterly bloody awful that you have to deal with it again.

Please don't add the burden of deciding whether to try again now you have so much to deal with already.

DHW - I hope you can gain confidence from the others on here who've said they or someone they know has gone through this experience and come out of the other side.
I am a very practical person and would be thinking to finding a cause as this may help with grieving and also your future plans. Like the others have said although you may not be feeling up to it, you may have to push for tests/answers on Weds and in the coming months.
I am so so sorry you have had to go through this experience twice and in a row too, hope you have support in RL, you def have the support of all of us on here.

I am so so sorry DHW. I remember you from the Nov thread, you were treading really carefully after your last tragedy.

I do not know what to say, or why one person should have to deal with all of this.
