I am furious. Earlier on DD (2) was messing about with the remote controls (we have 3, one for tv, DVD, sky remote) anyway, he managed to turn on the dvd player and on came a bloody blue movie, I was horrified. OK I know DH watches it now and again (never when I or the kids are around thats for sure) and it doesn't really bother me BUT to leave it carelessly in the player is downright stupid. He could have at least hidden it. He gets this DVDs from his pervo mates at work.

Can you imagine if my parents or his parents were there when this happened or worse still a visitor? Could have been a health visitor checking the little one.

I am currently not speaking to him for this and threw his dvd in the bin (cracked it in half first and its not even his) ha ha.

AIBU?

but it was the porn film to see homerton

BritTex · 14/11/2007 21:22

Now was it an illegal downloaded porn dvd or a shop bought dvd just kidding !!!

ELF1981 · 14/11/2007 21:27

I asked DH what he would have done if I had broken his friends porn DVD...

he said "OMG they're about £40, I'd go mental!" which (as reasonable as my DH is) shows that I'd be much better making him feel two inches tall all evening by tutting and glaring at said DVD than breaking it

LuckySalem · 14/11/2007 21:31

I asked my DP and he said he wouldn't really care what I broke if it wasn't his as long as I had the money to replace it.

VictorianSqualor · 14/11/2007 21:35

Mine said her dh was an idiot for leaving ti there but that if she broke it he would expect her to replace it.

if it's any comfort, i have to ensure hubby erases all icons relating to porn sites off the computer when my mother comes to stay or she'd have a heart attack while doing a bit of silver surfing as she does. 'tis one of the occupational hazzards of being married to my DH, i suppose. when we moved out of our first flat together, i made him bin all the porno mags he'd carted from his bedroom at his mum's place. he placed them in the stairwell and they were gone in about 10 minutes

Thanks for your replies everyone. I have only just come back online so I need to read through.

From what I HAVE read it does seem quite disturbing that SOME of you are very open to pornograghy without being concerneced how these women actually end up in this industry. I would rather die than my DD end up doing porn, wouldn't you?

alm- you are so caught up in thinking every woman in a porn movie has been forced to do it or is desparate to get money for drugs ! as I said earlier i am sure there are some but it is a small percentage. you are being very nieve about this, is it because you feel it is your onnly defence against your DH's viewing of it? (and i mean this in the nicest possible way, i am just trying to help you out here with you DH). by the way does he know you smashed the dvd yet?
