Totally putting because it's my face but I don't care.

Started off with a small pain at 4pm and bit of redness. Got worse, pain got worse, kept getting a crackling sensation.
More pain and redness so I went to minor injuries.

There's nothing in there and no abrasion. And in the meantime the blood redness spreads but so does the fluid so they say it's an allergic reaction.

I go home, unconvinced. The eye is feeling better since I put a patch on.

I just took it off and took a photo and there's like a crater under the surface.

What the actual fuckery is this?

It's happened once before and no one knew what it was then either.

Any ideas?!

Is there a pic?

AnExcellentWalker · 22/03/2021 21:05

Can't see a photo.

EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:05

I can't post the picture. Dammit!!

It just won't do it

Try uploading the photo again.

alwaysscared · 22/03/2021 21:06

Now I really want to see this eyeball!!

EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:06

I've tried 4 times. I press 'post'
But it just stops and doesn't upload.

Perhaps MN system hates eye balls?

You can present at some opticians ( usually independent ) and ask to be seen via the NHS scheme. Might be called ACE or similar. Usually a lot more helpful than minor injuries.

Harryo · 22/03/2021 21:06

Sounds from your description that you need to go to a&e. Despite being seen already.

Don’t take risks with your eyesight. It’s not worth it.

CatsHairEverywhere · 22/03/2021 21:07

Is your account less than 3 months old?

EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:08

@CatsHairEverywhere

Is your account less than 3 months old?
No but I have been banned for a week and allowed back in recently.

Might that be it?! I wasn't banned for posting pictures. And I can see the paper clip

OP posts:
CatsHairEverywhere · 22/03/2021 21:08

That would explain pictures not loading. Agree with PP’s about going to a&e again, don’t think you should wait for an opticians appointment though.

Ahh unsure if the banning would do that sorry, maybe email MNHQ and ask? Seems daft to take away picture posting privileges if it wasn’t a picture posting offence Grin

EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:09

Damn it just won't let me.

So I can't post a picture for 3 months?

Can someone post it for me? I can email it?

OP posts:
EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:09

oh it worked!!

OP posts:
Harryo · 22/03/2021 21:10

I can see your photo

DollyMinx · 22/03/2021 21:11

If you've got a headache too get yourself to A&E pronto because
it could be an acute angle glaucoma - pressure build up in your eye..

Reinventinganna · 22/03/2021 21:11

Do you want to send me the pic in dm and I’ll put it on?

From your description I would get seen asap

Absolutelyscunnered · 22/03/2021 21:11

Local A and E but ideally the local eye hospital if you have one nearby.

userxx · 22/03/2021 21:11

Jesus, that looks sore. Surely an allergic reaction doesn't make your eye bleed ! Itch yes but not bleed.

Reinventinganna · 22/03/2021 21:12

Oooh I can see it.

Ouch. Go back to the hospital

Fireweeds · 22/03/2021 21:12

Do you wear contacts?

EyeballWHAAAAAAT · 22/03/2021 21:13

We do have a relatively local eye casualty.

But now it's burst or whatever, it's starting to feel better.
Which is what happened last time (about 6 years ago).

Tomorrow my whole eye will be pure blood.

Stoppissingonmyheather · 22/03/2021 21:13

VeganCow · 22/03/2021 21:13

Looks like a subconjunctival haemorrhage.
