What the fuck happened to my eye ball?!!!! Help!! ****really bad eyeball pic don't open if sqeaumish****

Totally putting because it's my face but I don't care.

Started off with a small pain at 4pm and bit of redness. Got worse, pain got worse, kept getting a crackling sensation.
More pain and redness so I went to minor injuries.

There's nothing in there and no abrasion. And in the meantime the blood redness spreads but so does the fluid so they say it's an allergic reaction.

I go home, unconvinced. The eye is feeling better since I put a patch on.

I just took it off and took a photo and there's like a crater under the surface.

What the actual fuckery is this?

It's happened once before and no one knew what it was then either.

Any ideas?!

I have a severe phobia of eyes.

So obviously seeing the title, the first thing i had to do was click and scroll for the pic.

Now I'm lying down with my feet up on a pillow trying not to faint while I can feel the panic rising in my chest.

Eek. I had periorbital cellulitis last year twice and it didn't look half as scary as that. Hope you're being well looked after by an eye doctor

An eye ulcer? They need treatment. I would go back. Hope it gets better soon.

Did you say it burst since you last saw a doc, and it's been bleeding out? I wonder if the pain is better because whatever it is has burst but you'll be at all sorts of risk of really nasty infections in the eye.

I would go back to hospital tonight, see if they can recommend any wash or ointment or anything that frankly isn't letting that fester overnight. It sounds like it's objectively worse since you were last in.

If your eye hospital is connected to another hospital, go to the one linked - eg MRI A&E in Manchester is part of the same suite of buildings as the eye hospital. I would assume they could advise of times or clinics etc.

But on the off chance you've gone to bed, please can I beg you not to have sex. I had a horrible black eye once and mistakenly had sex. As I orgasmed, I thought my whole head was exploding. I've never felt pain like it. Apart from childbirth, obvs.

This happened to my dad whilst we were in EuroDisney. So that was nice for the kids. It was a burst bloody vessel and just cleared up.

@Shufflebudge because that often happens when an appendix bursts. The pain goes away for a while and people think they are better, before the pain then usually returns and gets worse. It's the most dangerous stage in appendicitis as people often stop trying to get medical help when the pain improves as they think they are better.

Just to clarify my previous post - if it's an "open wound" on your eye it will certainly warrant different treatment than a "sore spot" and I would believe it to be worth going tonight and not tomorrow.

Is there anyone that can drive you to the hospital? If not could you maybe ring 111 for advice?

odd you saying this because I had the vaccine a few days ago and had a really scary weird thing happen with my eye ball today and ended up in eye casualty. I was so scared with what happened but just can't find the words to say what happened, in fact when I got to eye casualty I just ended up crying and couldn't explain what had happened except that I had this excruciating pain and a feeling almost like my eyeball was somehow in a spasm or twisted ( I know that sounds really weird ! ) I screamed for my dh who was working from home as I was so traumatized by what happened but it did pass within probably a minute. It's still bothering me as I'm wondering whether it was some kind of focal seizure or something.

I once had an infection that looked like that, my tiny kitten stood on my eye when I was reading in bed. I had antibiotics for a week.

But it’s clearly worse and they said to take more action if it got worse....
