maybe i am just being paranoid, but i only joined last week and have tried on numerous occasions to join in the threads and it all seems a bit cliquey, anyone else feel the same? or is it just me?

OP posts:
Lulumama · 15/10/2007 14:32

no worries, the thread is in 'meet up' section

LoRayningNewtsAndFrogs · 15/10/2007 14:33

And another thing.......
Sometimes some posters may be a bit erm... prickly, even when they have asked for advice and you have responded. Try not to bite back, and remember what and why they have posted, they could just be having a really bad day, nine out of ten times if you dont bite back they'll realise they sounded prickly and apologise.

Seriously though, i guess a was just being a little paranoid and should have given MN and little more time before wading in with this post ....but thats just me, i speak before i think and jump in feet first...just hope i havnet come across as littleMissCausesTrouble!

LoRayningNewtsAndFrogs · 15/10/2007 14:39

Well Littlemiss, at least youve ended it well, they normally end with, 'You're all a bunch of tossers and I wont be posting here again'

lissiethevampireslayer · 15/10/2007 14:39

i love mn because there is no other place where i can "speak" to such a wide variety of people, have my view of the world turned upside down with one post, speak to so many brave women who still care if you are having a bad day then talk about whether you would rather shag boris johnson or boris yeltsin.

LittleMissVampireSlayer · 15/10/2007 15:07

Fell slightly embarassed now but glad this thread staying fairly light hearted, i could potentially been hung drawn an quatered by the 'clique' ....and whats all this about stealing grapes from the supermarket?

I've been here for 2 years and I still get ignored.

IntergalacticWarlock · 15/10/2007 15:17

Don;t worry aboiut cliques, my love, because all mners smell of wee and poo. Even me.

rebelmum1 · 15/10/2007 15:17

You need to post something a bit controversial like 'all women should breast feed for 3 years' or 'women should do housework'

rebelmum1 · 15/10/2007 15:18

or 'Jordan's a shining example of motherhood'

xXxspookyxXx · 15/10/2007 15:27

i do think it can be a bit cliquey sometimes

ScottishMummy · 15/10/2007 15:27

or Kerry Katona you never see here in magazines much these days - what's she up to?

starshaker · 15/10/2007 15:33

i disagree with the "you are not a proper member unless u have been ignored" its really ur not a proper member unless u have killed all the threads u have been on. wait and see im good at that this 1 will now be DEAD

talulasmum · 15/10/2007 16:32

actually , thinking back to my thread, what i said would be considered a compliment by lots of people.

LoRayningNewtsAndFrogs · 15/10/2007 16:33

Thats what we mean by carrying it round the board btw, Littlemiss
