is there a 'clique' on MN?? my posts just get ignored/ unnoticed/disregarded

maybe i am just being paranoid, but i only joined last week and have tried on numerous occasions to join in the threads and it all seems a bit cliquey, anyone else feel the same? or is it just me?

mn is defo cliquey. i could start a thread asking aibu to want to become a nun, and id still get abuse. people just see the name and think oh no. might change my name to "outkast"

If you constantly go around saying "everyone hates me and gives me abuse", it's going to be self perpetuating.

LittleMissTroubled has had a perfectly friendly reception on this thread because she wasn't in any way abusive. Your start wasn't so great, but if you'd just shut up about it, people would forget and you'd just be an MNer like any other.

Unless you like the attention, of course.

I really have no idea what you've done, TM, but, as LL says, if you bleat about it endlessly, people will respond to your posts in a resigned "not you again" fashion and your belief in MN cliques will perpetuate. But it'll be you who's done that.
