maybe i am just being paranoid, but i only joined last week and have tried on numerous occasions to join in the threads and it all seems a bit cliquey, anyone else feel the same? or is it just me?

OP posts:
JoFan · 16/10/2007 14:35

i think it's only right that we should ask LittleMissTroubled to:

a. join the clique

b. name it

all in favour...

LoRayningNewtsAndFrogs · 16/10/2007 14:40

Wowsers, not just a clique, but the first named clique.
I'm proud of you TM, I knew you'd fit in eventually.

talulasmum · 16/10/2007 14:41

yes, i fully back that decision.

little miss is now our leader.

all rise for littlemiss.

talulasmum · 16/10/2007 14:44

lorayn;
i knew you still loved me. you tried to hide it, but i could tell.

LoRayningNewtsAndFrogs · 16/10/2007 14:46

The thing about cliques TM, is they often refer to in jokes like being middle class bores
Also your le crusty knowledge is way too high for you to ever leave mn now.

LittleMissLeaderOfTheClique · 16/10/2007 14:56

been trying to lie low in the Geeky threads today....now sweating under the pressure of leading a clique and having to name it

LittleMissLeaderOfTheClique · 16/10/2007 15:00

will try and keep the word 'hun' out of the title

SaintJude · 16/10/2007 16:39

LOL everyone welcome dont want to be too cliquey or cliniquey or middle class snobby

SaintJude · 16/10/2007 18:20

Well, I dont believe in Jesus But if I did, well, I'm surprised at you SM

feck is a derivative of a Scottish word meaning "act/thing done".

Feckers = doers/enactors

Cliquey doers.....

honestly......

ScottishMummy · 16/10/2007 18:23

as ye dirty feckers/ye cliquey feckers. i admit i am a bit hard of hearing must be the loud praying clacking of the rosary beads keyboard as i type on MN

SaintJude · 16/10/2007 18:25

Have you checked out meaning of "feck"?

ScottishMummy · 16/10/2007 18:26

nah - always assumed it was a euphemism for ther f word lol whts it mean then

SaintJude · 16/10/2007 18:41

Well, it can be

But, it can also mean - to do/an act. A derivative from the Latin verb 'facere' to do/enable.

ScottishMummy · 17/10/2007 12:29

v interesting!thanks

Bocoreepy · 17/10/2007 12:37

Little miss, i started a geek thread asking about websites and you totally haven't even replied.

Can't believe you've disregarded me
Cliquey.

FlightAttendant · 17/10/2007 12:45

I've never been in the teashop or the bar. Too scared of getting ignored and laughed at

Too much like school! Well it might be nothing like school but I always got laughed at there

LittleMissVampireSlayer · 17/10/2007 12:55

sorry BoCreep but my powers of telepathy are not working so well today

Bocoreepy · 17/10/2007 12:57

Well you see i was feeling a bit like you, and that starting a thread was an invitation for no one to answer as can so often happen. But rabbit said go on start a thread, so i did, and luckily UQD came, but no one else did. And i'm still confused about websites. If you see that rabbit, will you tell her to help me!

I was only joking about you disregarding btw.

LittleMissVampireSlayer · 17/10/2007 13:00

i know websites are not really my thing, havent done that kinda stuff since uni...my ex dp does them but im not speaking to him
