is there a 'clique' on MN?? my posts just get ignored/ unnoticed/disregarded

maybe i am just being paranoid, but i only joined last week and have tried on numerous occasions to join in the threads and it all seems a bit cliquey, anyone else feel the same? or is it just me?

I think some subjects attract a lot of conversation others not so much so I would not take it to heart. I am fairly new to mumsnet and have received some great advice (and tried to give some in return) from how to cope when my DH was working away from home to how to thicken a stew! - so I would stick with it.
