To think this new fashion looks stupid

Sliders and socks, I just can’t stand it, I think it looks bloody stupid and defeats the object of sliders. All my sisters friends do it, all the local kids wear it. It’s just one of them things that pisses me off in an instant. If I wore this when I was at school I would have got severely mocked.
Any other popular fashion you don’t like?

Flip flops. Sliders is a tv show.

But yes, DDs wear sliders and socks and it looks daft. But we are old and they are fashionable and olds always think new fashion looks daft.

BUT and a big but. I do it because I hate my feet getting dirty. I also love my furry ones. However I only do both of those heinous fashion crimes at home.

I wear crocs and socks. Out to the bin, in the garden and sometimes to the local shop.

My DC didn't talk to me for a whole morning because I wore sparkly sliders on the school run once 😂 not with socks though.
I agree, they look daft with socks but I do it when I'm taking the bins out..... It's pretty damn comfy

I think it looks awful too, sliders with socks. But for my sins I often wear trainers without socks, in summer and winter, so shoot me!

Flip flops have a toe post, making socks impossible unless you have some of those Japanese ones with separated toes. OP is correct about sliders.
