Normal - know lots in that age range. Not perfectly matched but not far off us for our second.

My first thought is "Eh?"

My second thought was "Why would this be an issue?"

My third thought was "Perhaps I am misunderstanding the question, better read the thread."

Seriously - very normal nowadays, I'd say. Nothing remotely surprising to me in those ages.

And I'm asking because dh and I sort of want #3!

Hardly unusual.

The other way round was my parents when I was born. Pretty old fashioned, neither could drive until Dad leaned when I was about 10.
Never allowed sleepovers, neither did much with me. It wasn't until I could get on a bus myself that I went to the cinema etc.

That was me and DP - our first and only, 9 years ago. It's been the best thing that ever happened to me.

We had our first when I was 41 and my partner was 45.
We are hoping to have another (I am now 43).
