So OLD... Been mailing a guy, we'recommend both in our 30's, online condos went well so we swapped numbers, text condos were going really well too... until I got this, which has really revolted me, I mean WTAF?? Or am I being a prude??

Um
Also what is he on about "bums nipping already" and "surrounded by ordinary commoners"?

Kenworthington · 18/11/2016 12:51

Omg! Wtf??? Loved your reply btw

Maudlinmaud · 18/11/2016 12:51

He's odd.

donajimena · 18/11/2016 12:51

Fuck no! No way would I meet up with him. If that makes me a prude so be it.
There's honesty then there is TMI.
He's probably the kind of guy who thinks a dutch oven is funny.

😂😂😂 sorry OP but that has made me chuckle! Bum nipping?! I'm trying to think what it might be an autocorrect mistake for....

Pyrrha · 18/11/2016 12:53

I did online dating and was good at weeding out the weirdos...he's definitely a weirdo! Move on!

SkySmiler · 18/11/2016 12:53

Convos- sorry! OMG don't want to know what a Dutch oven is... do I?!

kissmethere · 18/11/2016 12:53

You're not being a prude, jeez that's awful.

SkySmiler · 18/11/2016 12:54

I did really like him! But just can't get my head round an adult male thinking that is appropriate...

Gileswithachainsaw · 18/11/2016 12:56

Someone's taken his phone...Surely.

CaoNiMao · 18/11/2016 12:58

I think he's the online dating poo troll...

Mummyshortlegz · 18/11/2016 12:58

I think he's just being a tiny bit over familiar and sharing a funny / embarrassing story. I'd still meet him, it really isn't that bad.

redpriestandmozart · 18/11/2016 12:59

Wearing nappies, poo stories, I think he is sussing out if you'd be into poo play (if there this is even a thing)..

CaesiumTime · 18/11/2016 13:01

Poo trolls are everywhere Sad

ladyratterley · 18/11/2016 13:02

Sounds like it might be my ex!
Why a grown man would think you're interested in his bowel movements is beyond me! Not sexy is it?! Gross.

Maudlinmaud · 18/11/2016 13:04

Some people find poo stories funny, they make me dry retch.

Aquiver · 18/11/2016 13:06

That's... really weird and childish. Just so weird (and this is before the "comfortable with each other" stage - I dread to think how much worse it could get!)

I would block and delete his number. But then I'm a bitch like that.

gamerchick · 18/11/2016 13:06

Eh he isn't being weird man Confused 'bums nipping' means he was nervous about meeting you and he was trying to be clever in his wording about meeting in a bog standard public place like a pub.

Poor bugger it serves him right for not using more straightforward words.

KoalaDownUnder · 18/11/2016 13:06

He's mentioned wearing nappies?? Wtf?

He sounds clueless and gross. Move on.

BestZebbie · 18/11/2016 13:06

I think your response was ideal.

If you had been married for ages and he mentioned that story, it would still be a bit gross, but perfectly fine (as in, he should be able to tell you without you freaking out, if it was a memorable part of his day).

As you are still at a very very early stage of a possible relationship, really he should still be on "best behaviour" a bit more than that - your reaction has reinforced the boundaries of what is appropriate in your mind at this stage, to him.

I assume all this ordinary/common stuff is him trying to be lighthearted and thereby flirt, but what is this about wearing nappies??

liz70 · 18/11/2016 13:08

I think you've stumbled upon the male equivalent of Jacqui McNappy. I'd tell him to scat if I were you.

wheresthewine36 · 18/11/2016 13:09

I think it's quite handy he sent it...now you know he's probably not your cup of tea.x
