I don't think he sounds like he's into scat or adult babying, but I think he's trying to "test" you by acting deliberately repellent quirky, and seeing if you can "handle his weirdness" or whatever these chronically dull, self-proclaimed crazy diamonds like to call it. Everyone, but everyone, likes to think they are charmingly quirky and understood only by a select, precious few because they are so special and mad and weird and whatever the fuck.

I'd be too turned off by this to continue, but I do have a very specific type.
