Info on Danny "Tommo" Thomas:

In July 2016, a judge condemned Thomas and two other men for an “extraordinarily frightening incident” matched only by its “stupidity” in which they armed themselves with knives and targeted Graham Page at his home on Hayling Island.

Mr Page told Portsmouth Crown Court that Thomas, along with Darren Anscombe, 38, and Leo Smith, 34, burst into the house shouting “you’re coming with us”.

He claimed they wrongly accused him of stealing £10,000 of drugs from them and tried to drag him away.

Mr Page resisted and the men fled, shouting “we’ll be back”. Upon arrest Thomas, from Hampshire, admitted the offence. He was jailed for two years. The two others received 30 month sentences.

This is all very not good. It may be too late to avoud sectarianism in England. I cannot see Labour gripping the problem effectively.

TBH, I think a religiously motivated militia like the black-clad Dover men is horrible and objectionable.

That said, I find it very hard to believe that these men are churchgoers. It sounds like religion was a pretext and the action was a perversion of any Christian belief.

It seems to be more this nouveau Crusader thing.

I suspect that like it or not, we're going to to see increased direct action like this wrt the boat arrivals - I don't think the anger is going to dissipate under Burnham.

They also don't tend to gather as an intimidating mob dressed in black and masked up.

I find it very distressing and concerning that a Government of the United -Kingdom is deliberately antagonising Israel for votes from a section of people. This, is another example of how appalling this Government are. They are prepared to destroy the United Kingdoms ties with one of our best 'friends' in order to ensure their incompetent 'employees' keep their £100 k a year jobs.

I do wonder though given that Russia loathe us Iran detest us Argentina see a very weak and 'naive' Government. One that could acquiesce to their demands, based on the Chagos deal, who the Labour Government thinks are are closest allies are now! Are we looking for a trade deal with North Korea, South Sudan or any other tin pot country.

I have seen various posts on here about 'Deform' and lies in the media about the downcast nature of this years Conference. Absolute un-truths the lot of them amazing energy across both the Friday @ Saturday was evident in bucket loads. The attendees at the Conference were all what i would call 'middle' England, they were no Swivelled eye loon extremist racists present. In terms of ethnicity about 90-95% of Conference Delegates where of white ethnicity. This you would expect but there were numerous numbers of 'Asian' delegates at the Conference. This suggesting large numbers, of the Asian communities are coming on board and de-coupling from the Conservative Party.

To seek votes in this way I find absolutely abhorrent.

I've seen this type of uniform in the media re the rise of the new Irish problem. Of which the mainstream media are being silent about. Ditto similar groups rising in the EU countries.

There is rarely any fuss on the left when antifa/pro pal adopt this uniform. Funny how the left are suddenly up in arms about clothing that disguises one's identity.

I just saw something on Instagram. The hope is Europe will follow. A lot of europeans are angry with the hold the EU have on their countries sovereignty.

The coverage suggests that there may be a tie-up between AfD and a far-left splinter party to form the regional government.

What a terrible outcome in all respects, if grimly funny.

Sky News quotes the BSW:

“One small left-wing populist party, Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), has signalled it could co-operate with the AfD in a potential breach of the firewall.
Lead candidate Claudia Wittig told German broadcaster ARD that policy issues like energy prices "can be done together with the AfD".
She added that it would be "completely undemocratic not to involve them in government in some way"”.

It is a huge chunk of the vote.

Thats not ok. Dominic Cummings said they would take Farage down by any means necessary. He said bank accounts iirc, and medical records etc.

I just don’t see it as particularly democratic to block out those results. But I guess we’ll see re the firewall issue.

I just googled BSW. Their policies seem to be the usual collection of oddball nonsense that the far-left is so keen on.

But the interesting thing is that they’re pro-Russia, like the AfD. I think the EU is in for a rocky period if the extremes are chumming up over Putin.

I wouldn’t have anything to do with the AfD if I were a German politician. They’re very unsavoury.

But this is what you get with PR. A little bonkers party is much more likely to be able to hold the balance of power and have massively disproportionate influence on government, in this case enabling a fellow extremist party.

Local broadcaster saying turnout was over 75%.

I hope Merkel is watching and horrified.

44% of the voting electorate have voted for them, and it far outstrips the next party. It’s difficult if the system is able to overturn that.
