I crapped myself today...

Name changed for very obvious reasons..

I've been under the weather for the last few days, sort of like I have a cold but without the runny nose, feel run down but otherwise okay to carry on shopping /attend school events (eldest leaving primary this week), looking after toddler etc.

Stood in the living room about to try on my new dress and out of nowhere I catastrophically shit myself. No warning, no cramps, nothing, just explosive watery shit. I am so fucking happy that I was at a home but I am MORTIFIED. This has never happened to me before, even close and I have IBS but jesus fucking christ I am so embarrassed.

I had to confess to dp though and I'm in and out of the bathroom now every 2 mins it feels like. I've gone to bed now and trying to ignore the literal shit show that has happened to me today.

I don't know why I'm posting other than in pure hope that some solidarity will be shown to me and it'll ease my tense embarrassment...

To answer a few questions, no this isn't the first thing I did and I posted because I don't have anyone I want to admit this to in my actual life and guess what? The internet is anonymous.. if you're disgusted or whatever why did you open this and read it considering the title?

I didn't post to hear other people's 'experiences', I posted to make myself feel better for not being alone in this and for the most part I do, so thanks to the nice folks on here sending their well wishes.

Also, not on mounjaro, could be covid as I've been not very well for a few days but who knows, I did visit a play gym yesterday though the toddler is fine but my immune system has never been up to much!

Also, solidarity to the other folks this has happened to. I never dreamt it would happen to me, as we all think I'm sure!

This happened to my husband the other week. He had a slightly upset stomach and thought he could wait to go but no, out it came all over his slippers and the floor!

For what reason?

Was seriously ill last year and this happened to me many times. I was at death’s door tbh and I literally didn’t give a shit after the first few times.
And happened recently a couple of minutes from home. Luckily, I was in my car and it emerged unscathed.
It’s horrible but it washes off and bleach sorts most things.

I caught it from my DD on the first day of our holiday and I was shitting myself in my sleep, I have NEVER had diarrhea so severe before (very rarely get it), I had to spend 50 mins on the toilet the next morning just to make sure it had stopped coming out before we went out for the day, but it just wouldn't stop.

I had to go and buy Imodium (instant) for the first time in my life and was amazed at how effective and fast it works, amazing stuff! Definitely salvaged our holiday! Get some if you haven't got any!

I was ill for around a week, but at least it stopped me shitting myself.

I feel for all of you that this happened to! I got off lightly being that I was indoors and alone at the time. You have my sympathies!

I'm still in bed and feeling worse as time goes on but dp is being a trooper, he's worked outside in the blazing sun all day when he has a bad back and shoulder, he came straight in to take over the toddler care, done her dinner and is now clearing up! He has his plus points after all 😂

It’s that horrible hot feeling and the sudden realisation of what’s happened.

What anyone wants to do with their own time is none of my concern 😂

You have my sympathies OP, what a horrible experience. It’s never happened to me in 63 years. If it did, with absolutely no warning like this, I would most definitely make a GP appointment.

I pissed myself in the queue for the till for the cig kiosk at Tesco back when it was a large open space right next to the very busy entrance/exit so nowhere to hide and VERY obvious, no warning, one min thinking about what to have for tea when I got home, the next stood in a puddle (full bladders worth and couldn't control it🙈) like you said you got off lightly being at home lol hope you feel better soon @Cantcopeomg and it turns out to be a one off that you eventually laugh about! I laugh about Tesco incident now as I've since been diagnosed and its an ongoing condition I've been managing for 20yrs but back then as a young 20odd Yr old and this was the very first time it had happened, I was as you can imagine mortified!!

Um, for solidarity, a distraction when she's feeling unwell, potential for explanations why it might have happened and suggestions for how to avoid it in the future? Just off the top of my head. I find it weirder that your mind can ONLY think there must be something dodgy, tbh.

At the end of the day, who the fuck cares if some saddo gets their kicks from reading about an ANONYMOUS incident. They don't know who the posters are or what they look like, and if you don't like it, you don't need to respond. Other posters are adults and can decide if the benefit they get from posting outweighs the potential of some weirdo using it for other purposes.

Not to mention the chance of someone desperately refreshing MN in the hope someone posts a thread relating to their specific fantasy when there is a whole internet worth of very specific porn is a bit paranoid.
