Just that really. As it seems rather obvious he won’t be darkening the doors of MasterChef again - who would you like to see replace him (or maybe replace both him and John).

An egg. Would probably make similarly valued contributions to the programme.

I think it would be nice to see someone who hasn't come from a traditional chef background like nadiya but who is passionate about food

I think the programme will have to go- there's now talk of a completely toxic environment going beyond Wallace. It's such a shame-it's my favorite show.

Well they have a chef as one presenter, I think having a food critic would make sense as the second person. I don’t know the various newspapers food critics well enough to suggestion anyone.

I think they need to replace John Torode too. Time for a completely fresh set of presenters.

Grace Dent for me too, love watching her on Masterchef.

I’d like to see the end of Masterchef to be honest, it’s always on, been done to death and getting really boring. And if they could take Strictly with it, all the better

However, they've got to find a replacement to both which isn't god awful.

I can't see them replacing BOTH flag ship shows at the same time.

They aren't getting the high audiences but equally they are still pulling in a bigger audience than most shows.

Really good idea. He’s what Gregg is “supposed” to be isn’t he? A genuinely down to earth man who’s not a “chef” but loves food.
