Just that really. As it seems rather obvious he won’t be darkening the doors of MasterChef again - who would you like to see replace him (or maybe replace both him and John).

Si King and Nadiya Hussain would be excellent together but I suspect not cheffy enough between them.

Problem is the good ones are too busy actually cheffing.

I'd love a Lisa Allen and Angela Hartnett presenting duo.

A huge issue would be whether Si feels up to coming back into telly land without his best friend. I hope he does come back, if not for this but for something else when the time is right.

Daniel Clifford and Si King would be a brilliant combination I think.

I suggested Si King on another thread. He'd be perfect, he's passionate about food and flavours, can cook, but doesn't profess to be a chef. He's humble and I think he'd fit right in... Jay Rayner would too for me...

I don't think it would be right to replace Gregg with an egg. Surely for the maximum impact we'd have to replace him with an eg.

I don't think Nadyia is right for Masterchef and it might take her away from the other programmes she makes which would be a real shame. I can see Angela Hartnett being really good. I enjoy it when she's the judging chef on a week of the great British Menu. Si King would be a joy to have on the show but definitely not with Marcus, probably with Angela and Monica. I love Jay Raynor but I don't think he'd want to do it and I'm not convinced I'd want him on it outside of the experts sections where I love him.

Ulimately, Egg will be very easy to replace.
