This is completely untrue. Its not hard to look up what was achieved under the last Labour governmnent & how much of it was destroyed by 13 years of tory government. To say they are the same is nonsense.

Or a bail out of the banks that bankrupted the country?

I am a floating voter in a marginal constituency- I am exactly the sort of middle aged woman you need to win over. I am utterly sick of government incompetence, but I firmly believe that women’s rights once lost are lost forever and I don’t believe they are safe with Labour. A better working NHS is no use to me if my elderly mum and I can’t use it if there are mixed sex wards or requesting a female HCP and getting a male.

what will make me believe you

  • apologise to Rosie duffield
  • apologise for your attempt at compelled speech - you said that “Only women have a cervix” isn’t right and “is something that shouldn’t be said”
  • use accurate language - talk about single sex spaces not “safe spaces”. Be clear that female means actually female, not anyone who identifies as female.
  • stop talking about making it easier to change gender

I agree that labour are shit when it comes to womens rights. But the tories are shit when it comes to the rights of those unable to work due to health or disability, are deliberately destroying the nhs and prioritise business profits over over the chances of our grandchildren living on a planet that has a balanced and habitable ecosystem.

Political parties are like buses. None ofvthem actually go where you want to go. You have to find one that's going broadly in the vague direction you want to go and you keep an eye on when the route is going to diverge wildy from your destination and you get off then. If you actually join a party rather than just voting for it then you start getting a denocratic say in what the route should be.
