Machine washed, shook, line dried, machine never over full.
Tried lower spin and higher spin.

Id LOVE not to iron so much.. What's your tips

Hang on hangers to dry for tops

hellosunshineagainx · 19/08/2022 19:39

I mostly hang clothes up and make sure wardrobe and drawers aren't overflowing as that's what causes creases I find

lljkk · 19/08/2022 19:40

I would wear stuff that looks like that, DC notice less than I do. <shrug>

They look fine to me! You can try hanging things in the bathroom as steam from showers etc helps remove creases.

CornyAsACornyThing · 19/08/2022 19:40

Why no way? They look fine to me. The tshirt will lose its creases after being hung or folded and put away too.

Alfixnm · 19/08/2022 19:40

I put everything in the dryer. Works 99% of the time.

And when something is still wrinkly, I use a steamer - WAY easier and less annoying than ironing.

AlisonDonut · 19/08/2022 19:40

As soon as they wear them, those will fall out. It will be fine.

DaanSaaf · 19/08/2022 19:40

Lower standards. Honestly I would let my dc wear those.

TheFlis12345 · 19/08/2022 19:41

I can’t believe anyone cares in the slightest if kids casual clothes are a bit creased?!?

akslan · 19/08/2022 19:41

OMG a crease, the horror 😂

LittleBearPad · 19/08/2022 19:43

Tumble drier and a good shake and all good.

Also put the child in the T-shirt and the creases drop out.

wherearebeefandonioncrisps · 19/08/2022 19:43

Put them on an hour before you go out.
All of those creases will be gone and will be replaced with different creases.
If you iron them , they will still be replaced by normal wear creases.

HairyKitty · 19/08/2022 19:43

We haven’t got a tumble drier and air dry on the radiators, all my clothes come out a horrible crumpled mess much worse than OP so I’m really interested to know if I can avoid the creases without the ironing

Numbat2022 · 19/08/2022 19:43

They look fine to me. Shorts are absolutely fine, don't see any creases. T-Shirt it's a soft fabric, the ceases will fall out when it's on a warm body.

I wouldn't dream of ironing a child's clothes 😂 I sometimes iron mine for work if they need it, but not often and only if I can't get the creases out by hanging in a damp room.

IWishIWasABaller · 19/08/2022 19:43

Get a dryer! My one changed my life quick 10 minute warm spin and fold or hang while warm. I used to spend hours every weekend ironing , haven't used an iron once since we bought the dryer

Merlott · 19/08/2022 19:43

In the nicest possible way you have given me a good laugh OP 😁

Ironing is for formal shirts nowt else..!

MojoJojo71 · 19/08/2022 19:44

Just put them on, they are clean and look fine. Life is too short to spend time worrying about things that honestly don’t matter.

TooMuchToDoTooLittleInclination · 19/08/2022 19:44

With a warm little body inside those creases will drop out in 2 mins!

use a teeny tiny drop of fabric Softner in the wash (like a teaspoon) every second wash & it helps.

NoSquirrels · 19/08/2022 19:44

If you could NEVER let your DC wear those, then you need to make peace with ironing.

I would (and do) happily let my DC wear clothes looking like that, because most of the time they’re not meeting royalty or whatever. They start off clean (if slightly creased) and end up dirty and rumpled, so I just don’t care at all about the slightly creased part of the day.

ChloeKellyIsAnIcon · 19/08/2022 19:45

My kids would be fine to wear those!

FlowerArranger · 19/08/2022 19:45

@Chocolatiestchocolate ...... I bet your kids don't care, so why would you?

MaryWM · 19/08/2022 19:45

My DC would absolutely wear them like that! The creases will come out during the day. Nobody at nursery or at the park will notice or care.

Did you take them out the washing machine straight away, still hot, then shake them? That helps.

FlowerArranger · 19/08/2022 19:46

And how does the children's father feel....... would he be sufficiently bothered to iron their clothes...

Offandonagain · 19/08/2022 19:46

Lower standards

Twattergy · 19/08/2022 19:47

I send DS out in unironed clothes (don't think I've ever ironed his clothes!) Just do it, the world won't end and they look fine.
